“While staying at the Big Moose Inn and Campground, we checked out the Loose Moose. It is open until 9pm and we entered around 8:30pm. I never like coming to restaurants so close to closing time but the drive through Baxter State Park took longer than we expected. At any rate, we were still made to feel very welcome. We were brought a large bottle of cold water, and given menus for both the Loose Moose as well as Fredericka’s (the other on-site restaurant located in the same building). I ordered the Turkey Pot Pie ($16) which came with farm veggies and house baked turkey and topped with phyllo crust, and my wife ordered the Loose Moose salad ($9) with grilled chicken ($5). Our food was delicious and the service was great. Even though we made it out right at 9pm, I still never felt pressured to leave. Thank You!“

“The food and views here are amazing. The chicken nachos, pretzel, and spicy chicken sandwich are some of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re in this area, it’s a must try. We went multiple times.“
“Really enjoyed stopping I'm while in town for work. The chicken burger was great, and some of the nicest people I've ever met. Thanks very much for the experience!“

“Went in tonight after kayaking and fishing Togue Pond. Met Angel, one of the owners. Great atmospere, trivia with a few locals, and found out you can smear leftover spinach dip on your significant other if you are game!! Great time, food and service were great, stop in if you are ever on this neck of the woods!“
