He is calling it “Milkshake Cake,” and it was the perfect sweet treat. He is always working on something new when I’m here and if you are lucky enough to come when it isn’t busy; it is an absolute joy to witness his passion and excitement for what he does. “On a rainy and tipsy Saturday night, I was absolutely starving, and OHOP was all that was open. I’m allergic to tomatoes so I ordered the mac n cheese pizza and substituted the tomato sauce for their alfredo sauce.I haven’t always been allergic to tomatoes, and I fondly remember the days when I could eat pizza without a care in the world. With food allergies, I get super nervous ordering at restaurants especially for delivery. But the delivery person double checked at the door that my order was correct and safe for me BEFORE I even said anything. I felt so at ease from that alone.My pizza was absolutely amazing. Fluffy crust with just the right amount of crispy on the edges. Mac n cheese wasn’t overcooked or mushy and was the perfect texture (I’m autistic so this is saying a lot). The alfredo wasn’t too garlicky and complimented the mac nicely. It is so rare that I can find a pizza that is safe with my health issues AND tastes good. I just about cried eating it (I was a couple drinks in, but my point still stands) and I have not stopped thinking about that pizza since. “A great pizza joint. Pizza was delicious, got a free soda with our purchase. There is seating inside the restaraunt, it's comfortable inside. “We dine here frequently. The service is consistently great as is the food. I often enjoy the shrimp scampi but tried the Gnocchi with sausage tonight. The spice was perfect. My husband usually has a piece of fish and the salmon is always prepared perfect. The atmosphere is a mix of casual and upscale, we will dine here for special events and also a weekday dinner. We’re so happy they are in Bangor.“

The only reason I haven't rated the food excellent is because I've only ordered the pizza and can't speak to anything else. By itself, I personally love the pizza. I ordered from the Orono location for YEARS and the taste for Hampden is the same. Counter service was take-out pick-up is friendly and courteous. I definitely recommend the pizza.Parking: Take-out parking is in front of the building, but there is ample parking along side the building.“

“Although I only ate there once while briefly living in Bangor; the food and service were great and the view was spectacular. I happened to meet the owner out walker her dog while on one of my daily walks along the river. A simple hello sparked a conversation, she was so kind and funny. I had no idea she was the owner until we got to chatting and ended up doing the river walk together that day. She lifted my spirits and if I still lived in town I would be a regular not just for the good food and service but to support such a kind human and her family.“

“I always stop here for my Italian when in the area. Usually once or twice a year and I have always enjoyed it. My ham Italian on this visit was good but slightly soggy. Had a lot more pickles than usual so I figure that is probably why. My husband had the godfather and had no complaints at all. Will keep returning!“
“I was looking for a pizza joint for dine in. Not this place. But I ordered me a pizza. I travel the country for work. I just finished a trip from Milwaukee, wi to San Diego, CA. Then came to Bangor from there. After not eating real food for a few days (6), it was time to try a new pizza joint. I got a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, garlic pizza. It was decent. It's the only pizza I've had in this area, so I can't compare it to local. But on the scale I can compare it to, it's a little above average. It's not like Pizzeria Uno in chicago, where I will drive for 2 hrs for pizza and go back home. It's also not like 5 star pizza in Michigan, where I won't step foot back in the that place again. This pizza is at least worth the try. I also got the godfather sandwich, but that's for a little later.“

“Everytime I go in we are treated nice usually. Collette is an amazing server especially. There is only 1 server there we were not treated pleasant by and we treated her with all respect and kindness regardless. But every other server we have had does an excellent job especially Collette as I mentioned.“
“I eat here at least once a week for lunch (I recommend the lunch specials) and once a week for a large Greek pizza. It’s hands down the best in the area. When I see bad reviews I can only imagine the type of people leaving them. I’ve eaten here probably close to 1000 times and I’ve never had a single bad experience. The pricing is good, the people are friendly, and the food is superior. I’ll be back atleast twice in the next 7 days because I won’t waste my time elsewhere. I know I’m a fanboy, but it’s hard for me to understand how not everyone is.“
“Staff are friendly, pizza is pretty good but I liked the mozzarella sticks more. However I did reheat the leftover pizza I had and bit into something inside it that caught me off-guard, and I'm not quite sure what it was (maybe a big chunk of basil?). That aside, I liked this place.“
“We are regulars at Pat's Pizza in Orono. We like the congenial staff service and the pizza is good. I have tried several other menu items but my favorite is the pizza. Our personal favorite is the chicken jubilee! We prefer the marinara sauce over standard pizza sauce. The marinara sauce is especially flavorful and robust. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the pricing is excellent. There are only 2 pizza sizes but the small is basically a medium sized pie and the large is very large. It's common to be taking home leftovers! The staff make menu changes/substitutions to accommodate special requests which I often do an easy option! Order mistakes are rare but when and if, they are quickly rectified and we have seen it happen without a charge on the check! There is parking front and rear but the rear parking is a lot off the street and easier.“
