“Amazing food, drinks and service, a true gem!!“

“Munjoy Hill Tavern was the perfect dive bar we were in search of in Portland. We came in later on a Friday night and were able to sit at the bar and enjoy $3 Miller High Life, something every dive should have. The bartender was friendly and let us take over the TouchTunes, to which we discovered we had 50 credits. Needless to say we took full advantage. The bar also has live music on other nights and a full back patio deck. Overall, great Portland dive!“

“We were on a tight schedule to catch a flight home. Deija, our server was so kind and helpful. She put in our order as she seated us, she went above and beyond to make sure we had our meal so we could enjoy and not feel rushed. The haddock sandwich was very good.“

“Westbrook OnTap is a good place to go. On Thursdays they usually have an open mic where people can come in and perform. The mood is relaxed and supportive of both amateurs and seasoned professionals. The food comes from Westbrook House of Pizza and the pizzas are good. The bartender is very nice and accommodating. It’s a good place to go.“

“Unpretentious upscale pub. The food and service are always dependably good. Very much a comfortable spot for a good dinner. The staff is flexible about mixing entrees and side dishes. Reasonably priced. A good choice for a quick casual meal.“

“The atmosphere at Dockside Grill is fantastic due to its being right on the water. You can get off your boat and go right up to the bar for a beer after being on the water.

However, part of me gets the feeling that Dockside lets a few things go because they know they have a fabulous location.
I felt the hostess, instead of being warm and friendly, was terrified of her job and of me. She needs some support around greeting guests with a smile.

I also felt the server could have been more friendly. She was nice enough, but pretty cool.

I went to the ladies' room. It smelled of pee. Yes, you have a great location, but when the bathroom smells of pee, I feel I am in a gas station and not a lovely restaurant on the water.

I had a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and it was good.
My partner had a wrap which he loved. He also ordered the fish chowder which was very good but maybe too thick for my taste.
We do usually have great meals at Dockside Grill.“
