“What can you say?? It's New England's first craft brewery, opened a few months before that MA patriot one. :D They keep it simple with a quaint tasting room, plenty of seating outside in great weather, very comfortable and still fantastic brews!! Definitely recommend!“

“We had such a great experience at this brewery during our visit to Portland! The atmosphere was perfect — plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, so it’s easy to find the right spot whether you want to relax inside or enjoy the fresh air outside.

Their pizza selection was fantastic — lots of creative options and everything we tried was delicious. The brewery also offers beer flights, which was a great way to sample several of their brews. One standout was the Sea Dog Blueberry Beer with a sugar rim — such a unique and delicious touch that really made it memorable!

What really made our visit special was the owner’s hospitality. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and comfortable. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does.

“ACCESSIBILITY AUDIT:
Shipyard is accessible to people with mobility (dis)abilities, though it isn't marked well until you get outside.

If you try to enter the taproom from the main entrance, there are a flight of stairs down, so you may think it's inaccessible. However, if you go through the gift shop, take a left upon entering, you can go down a ramp to the taproom.

I hope management responds to this review by putting up signs with arrows at the taproom entrance and gift shop entrances and maybe an arrow on the gift shop floor to make it clearer that wheelchair users can access the space.

Thank you for keeping the door propped open so that it was more accessible to enter. Please also move the sidewalk gift shop sign towards the far door rather than in the middle and right in front of the entryway. Where it was positioned centrally, it was too difficult to get inside with a wheelchair or stroller and that's an easy thing to train staff.

The taproom has a lowered bar section too. 👏🏽

There is one section of bathrooms that are not accessible but there is a small sign (shown) that directs you to where the accessible restrooms are.

“Awesome place! We went for the first time yesterday, and we were not disappointed with the food and drinks! The 🦞 roll was one of the best that we’ve had. We ordered a cheese plate and oysters as well, and they were both delicious. Hidden gem tucked away in the Old Port! We will definitely be back again.“

“Another Round is a great spot to unwind and socialize, where you’ll find delicious coffee, an extensive selection of games, and a welcoming atmosphere. The owner was so kind and friendly, and you can tell he’s really passionate about games and building community. My partner and I were visiting from out of state and found a game we wanted to purchase, and the owner generously offered to ship it to us!
