“Finally tried them yesterday and was not disappointed. The chicken is really good! I'm a fried chicken snob and this is top notch. Fries were good and crispy and the mac n cheese was perfect. We had it delivered from Munjoy Hill to Meeting House Hill in South Portland and it made the trip well. The fries were still crunchy. We'll get this from now on. Buh-bye KFC and Popeyes. :-)“

“If you eat halal and enjoy fried chicken, do yourself a favor and get some food from here. The fried chicken I got was served hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Everything tasted amazing. This restaurant is at the top of my list in Maine.“

“One of our favorite places, nice laid back atmosphere with couches & bookcases, reasonably priced beers, and located at the entrance to Portland’s wonderful West End. They serve a great Beyond burger, as well as a black bean burger. They also have a number of other nice options including vegan cheese pizzas, chili, and chili cheese fries! “Fresh, hot pizza (and other assorted goodies)! The employees are always friendly, sometimes they look a little frazzled but don't we all at times. There is no dine- in so the atmosphere is merely the sweet smell of pizza in the oven, a cash register and a cooler full of soda. lol“

“Walked into the Portland location at 7:57 on a Saturday when they close at 8:00 and they graciously served me, even though it was clear they had finished cleaning up for the night. I am a regular at the Scarborough commissary throughout the summer and this was my first time visiting the Portland location. The staff all said hello to me with a smile and conversation and had no problem packing a few rolls for me to go! Great staff and always consistent food!“
