“Quite little place with friendly staff! I ordered my favorite meatball marinara and they had run out of meatballs! Lol but Kajal helped me out and made the sandwiches for us as soon as they came in and let me enjoy my favorite! Thank you Kajal for excellent service and wonderful food!“

I am a regular at the Scarborough commissary throughout the summer and this was my first time visiting the Portland location. “One of our favorite places, nice laid back atmosphere with couches & bookcases, reasonably priced beers, and located at the entrance to Portland’s wonderful West End. They serve a great Beyond burger, as well as a black bean burger. They also have a number of other nice options including vegan cheese pizzas, chili, and chili cheese fries! “Grabbed some food here the other day and it was actually pretty good. My order came out quick, everything was hot, and the portions were decent. The fries were crispy and the main item had good flavor without being overly salty. Staff was friendly enough and getting my order was easy. Nothing fancy about the place, but thats kinda what I liked about it. It’s a good option when you want something quick and dont want to spend a lot. I’d eat here again for sure, especially when I’m in the mood for a quick meal.“

“Finally tried them yesterday and was not disappointed. The chicken is really good! I'm a fried chicken snob and this is top notch. Fries were good and crispy and the mac n cheese was perfect. We had it delivered from Munjoy Hill to Meeting House Hill in South Portland and it made the trip well. The fries were still crunchy. We'll get this from now on. Buh-bye KFC and Popeyes. :-)“

“Every time I have gone, everyone is very personable. It's very clean and the food has been very good except for the last time I was there. The pizza was soggy I had never had soggy pizzas there. So that is not the regular. I would recommend it as a great pizza place“

“So I give this subway 5 stars cause every time I go there everything checks out. Bathrooms are always on point the food is always on point and the lobby is always on point. Iv been going to this subway for about 2 years now and I can truefuly say it's by far one of the best around and iv been to most of em. So thank you guys for always keeping it clean and making the best sandwichs definitely worth your buck.

Vegetarian options: They definitely got a good display for the vegetarians I don't eat that section my self but I know folks who do and they also say it's the best.

Parking: This subway has its own parking lot and handicap accessible as well. And it's pretty big parking lot as well.

Kid-friendliness: Oh yest definitely kid friendly you can definitely sit in and eat a meal with your kids and kids can be loud and there all for it.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes as I said above it's all wheelchair accessible parking easy access to get in door.“

“We have been driving by for months, and finally decided to swing-in to pick up a little dinner. Small side of orange chicken, large chicken fried rice and two spring rolls did the trick. Nicely priced about 28 bucks.
Orange chicken was really sweet and tart I enjoyed it very much My husband was on the fence about it. Chicken fried rice was delicious, full of big pieces of chicken and fried egg. Hubby really liked it I could have done without as much chicken. The Spring roll had a really soft inside texture. I very much enjoyed it. My husband didn't care for it. We will be back to try out other dishes.

“I'd like to give a huge shout out to the staff at Subway for so graciously handling a couple of last minute catering orders I had to place earlier this month. The other food options I had planned for a training of 20 people didn't work because of dietary restrictions, so I called Subway to get sandwiches. They put together three big platters for us on very short notice, and were very gracious about the whole thing. Great people and the sandwiches came out great.“

“Fresh, hot pizza (and other assorted goodies)! The employees are always friendly, sometimes they look a little frazzled but don't we all at times. There is no dine- in so the atmosphere is merely the sweet smell of pizza in the oven, a cash register and a cooler full of soda. lol“

“I only used the drive-through, so I can't attest to how the dining area was. The food was decent & what I'd expect from Wendy's. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals, but there were a couple problems. They ran out of one of the drink flavorings (before noon, even), so one person had to get something other than what was initially ordered. I'd also ordered via mobile and was supposed to get a promotional deal of 10 pc chicken nuggets, but they forgot to give it to me and I didn't realize until I'd driven away. “Always stop here when we can. Only ordered in person once and all other times via app. Seems like app orders are much faster. The staff is always busy trying to handle both. Definitely echo other commenters' opinion that this location needs to be a dedicated brick and mortar restaurant in a larger space outside the mall. They are the only restaurant that is busy and there is always a line so that says something about the demand. Hope this happens one day.“
