“Walked into the Portland location at 7:57 on a Saturday when they close at 8:00 and they graciously served me, even though it was clear they had finished cleaning up for the night. I am a regular at the Scarborough commissary throughout the summer and this was my first time visiting the Portland location. The staff all said hello to me with a smile and conversation and had no problem packing a few rolls for me to go! Great staff and always consistent food!“

“The food and atmosphere get 5/5, but the service should be noted as being beyond the given measurable scale! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and truly made it feel as though my wife and I were being served a meal made with love and passion, and not just purchasing food.

The lamb plate with white sauce is perfect. Zero notes; please never change it 🙏

The chicken nuggets will make all others in the future taste like sand upon your tongue; they will ruin you in the best way. There are no photos of them because they didnt survive the ride home.

“Finally tried them yesterday and was not disappointed. The chicken is really good! I'm a fried chicken snob and this is top notch. Fries were good and crispy and the mac n cheese was perfect. We had it delivered from Munjoy Hill to Meeting House Hill in South Portland and it made the trip well. The fries were still crunchy. We'll get this from now on. Buh-bye KFC and Popeyes. :-)“

“One of our favorite places, nice laid back atmosphere with couches & bookcases, reasonably priced beers, and located at the entrance to Portland’s wonderful West End. They serve a great Beyond burger, as well as a black bean burger. They also have a number of other nice options including vegan cheese pizzas, chili, and chili cheese fries! “Fresh, hot pizza (and other assorted goodies)! The employees are always friendly, sometimes they look a little frazzled but don't we all at times. There is no dine- in so the atmosphere is merely the sweet smell of pizza in the oven, a cash register and a cooler full of soda. lol“
