This place is friendly, it looks great inside, and the food was great. The decor and the food are both very Instagrammable. The guac was very good as were the tacos and the birra brisket grilled cheese. The salsas are not the common salsa you get other places - they seemed pretty unique to me. The pancakes were good (corn which was a nice change) and the drinks were great too. Service was quick and super nice. We’d absolutely go back again.

Ocotillo is a friendly place with great food and a great vibe. The decor and food are both very Instagrammable. The guac was very good, as were the tacos and the birra brisket grilled cheese. The salsas are unique. The pancakes were good, and the drinks were great too. Service is quick, super nice, and excellent. The brisket hash and shortcakes hit the spot. The grilled cheese, hash, and avocado toast are excellent, and the mimosas and margaritas are loved. It is one of the best brunch spots in Portland Maine, and they do dinner. From the gorgeous velvet booth seating, to the crispy potatoes and churros, the service, food and ambiance is outstanding. Highlights are the horchata, churros, and potatoes. The brisket hash and grill cheese combo is recommended. This is a hidden gem. The servers are outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to recommend items. The bar is bright, airy and pretty.
