It is a shame I am writing this review because Top of the East truly is a nice place, however I will not be going back, and I think everyone should be aware of what I experienced this past week.

Top of the East is an overpriced JOKE.
Myself and a large group of locals went to the Top of the East to celebrate a friend’s bday and had the WORST experience imaginable with a rude and incompetent server named Kristopher. We were treated with disrespect, overcharged, and subjected to the most unprofessional behavior I’ve ever seen in my 30 years of living in Portland and patronizing local restaurants/bars. waiter more then ruined our night. this place is TRASH your not allowed to stand in the bar, must stay seated. one check for everyone you’ll have to venmo strangers to pay your check. waiter called police on someone who refused to sit because of an injury.
