“Can this be called a hidden gem? Friend's and Family is easy to overlook from the street. It's slanted window disguises an interior that is open and airy. The high ceilings seem to remind you to breathe deep.
The food and drinks speak for themselves, but it's obvious from how beautiful and well kept the kitchen is that you've stumbled into something special. It's perfect weather for a spritz from here and they make them perfectly. Don't walk by.“
“It was a well thought out minimalistic design while still creating a warm, comfortable feel. I believe the term that was thrown out by one of the members of the group was, this feels like Central Perk. Angoor is an experience to share with friends, family or business acquaintances. Well done Sangeeta and Rafael!!“

“In a random twist of events, we found ourselves looking for a bite to eat on our way to our hotel in South Portland. We decided to look in the less crowded area of town and happened upon Bread and Olive. The dishes were mostly tapas sized. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and homemade. We had the bread and olives for an appetizer, the Mediterranean Flatbread and the grilled cheese... all of which were delicious. The homemade sourdough was absolutely delectable. The best part about the dishes being smaller is that we had room for dessert, which was a bundt cake. Lastly, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Bread and Olive!!!“

“Vibes, drinks, music: all immaculate. Got the forgotten paradise cocktail and it was perfect. Very nice little space, great lighting, super friendly bartenders. Felt safe going there alone and had a nice chat with some strangers. Will definitely be back. Thanks for being here for the queers!“

“What a nice surprise first visit. Charming, clean and classy restaurant vibe. Terrific knowledgeable service that helped us with our choices of drinks and food. Small plates but we left satiated. The avocado salsa macha with crispy corn tostada was delicious, but the flanked beef ribs with mole were over the top. Wasn't completely sold on the dessert which consisted of outstanding ice cream but a less than overwhelming rye bread something to eat with it, otherwise the food would have been 5 stars for sure. Lesson learned. We will definitely return.“
