“Great location and food. Ample seating on dock, a few dedicated parking spots and also adjacent to free Port Clyde parking area. We had an excellent hot and toasty (buttery) lobster roll (mkt $30) and a super tender and lightly battered clam roll (mkt $26). Both come with chips and pickle. No alcohol served or allowed on the deck. Very happy with our experience! Good coffee shop right next door.“

“12 year old. “It was the most creative and delicious burger I have had. It took more than 7 napkins. I used 9. Usually I don’t like mustard but it was perfectly balanced with the onions and pickles” 14 year old- “I like the combination and the crunch of onion and lettuce. The burger was cooked perfectly. I used exactly 7 napkins.” 10 year old- “ The best BLT on the midcoast. The most bacon I have ever seen on a BLT. If I had to judge on a 1-5 scale. It would be a five— and it had chips.” Support locally owned businesses.“

“OMG. Ate here for the first time the other day. Seriously, some of the food I’ve ever eaten! Bought extra to take home and each meal tastes better than the last. The homemade hot sauces top it all off. Gracious, friendly owners. I moved from Boston area five years ago and have so miss genuine ethnic food. I can’t wait to go back!“

“I've been here twice and these are the best donuts I've ever had. My whole family loves them. Fluffy, flavorful, and well balanced. (not super sweet) My favorite is the Espresso Creme. It is over an hour drive for me and worth the trip.“

“Great restaurant, creative menu. I had the granola and yogurt, would have been better with more yogurt since I was left with mostly dry granola to eat after finishing the small amount of yogurt. Tasty, but proportions need to be more balanced. Otherwise a nice breakfast.“

“On Sept 9th my wife and I had a fantastic dinner at La Bella Vita. The food was great! The brick oven bruschetta was the best! The server Gigi was second to none. He was cordial, attentive and very knowledgeable. We ate outside where the atmosphere was beautiful. A nice night, beautiful sunset and just a great time.
A couple of days earlier we had the Porcelli Trio brick oven pizza. It was fantastic and again the service was great. (I regret not remembering our servers name).
Finally, we had breakfast on site twice while at the resort. The food was good, typical breakfast foods. The buffet was available both mornings. Again, the service was very good. Dajana was our server both mornings and she was friendly, attentive and a great representative of what customer service should be.
I would highly recommend that you enjoy La Bella Vita at the Samoset Resort.“
