Former South Portland resident, and still think an hour + drive is worth it just for Taj. Fantastic food, lovely people, beautiful new location. HIGHLY recommend!
The food is absolutely amazing. Best Indian restaurant I’ve been to in the US hands down. Their fresh made hot naan is to die for & the buffet is great for if you want to sample a large variety of Indian dishes.
The atmosphere is great and the staff are always welcoming and super friendly.
The owners also have been giving back and helping the community for many years and I always love supporting businesses that support their community.
