We have been coming up to this area for years. We stay locally for a week or two. I get fresh lobster right off the boat, but we were always looking for fresh oysters. Drove back to Damariscotta (40 minutes each way) once to get some and they were pretty good. I found this place, this October. An absolute delight! After being intrigued by the sign we set out to find an oyster knife. Luckily those aren't too hard to come by on the coast of Maine (we found ours at Jess's). We headed back to the sign and after easy direction from the signage, parked outside of what looked like a home. We picked up 4 bags of their jumbo oysters, 32 in total, and paid them via Venmo. Absolutely great oysters! The flavor was so good and the oysters were fresh! We grabbed a bag last night and will be getting another few before we leave! Easy and hassle free- we paid with cash.
