“I highly recommend the 104. We recently hosted a bereavement meal there. I can’t say enough great things. Matt the owner made it a stress free process and provided a great assortment of apps for when people arrived. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive, friendly and went above and beyond. There were several people that had dietary restrictions for allergies and they couldn’t have been more accommodating to offer gluten and dairy free options. Thanks Matt and Team we will be back.”

“Had To sit at the bar and wait for a table because it was so popular. Sean was the best bartender ever. Our waitress Juliana was equally amazing. The food was supreme. Everyone was super helpful. The atmosphere was perfect love it would go back again.”

“🥪 What We Ordered:
Caribbean Jerk Turkey (on garlic bread)
The Engineer
💬 My Experience:
We stopped by Firehouse Subs for a quick lunch while on the road. As always, their subs are top-notch. My son ordered the Caribbean Jerk Turkey on garlic bread, which was a great touch, and I had The Engineer, both sandwiches were flavorful and satisfying.
That said, I was a bit surprised at the total, over $30 for two sandwich meals. I don’t eat fast food often, so the price point caught me off guard. It felt more like sit-down restaurant pricing, though the quality was definitely solid.
One thing I wish restaurants would do differently is provide more transparency when asking customers to round up for a charity or donate at the point of sale. It’s not always clear what the cause is or where the money goes, and the added tip prompt for fast food service can also feel a bit misplaced.
🏆 Highlight: High-quality sandwiches with great flavor combinations
📍 Would I Return? Yes, Firehouse continues to be one of the better sandwich shops out there, even with a few small concerns.”

“I’ve only had two bad experiences here once being hibachi and everything being under cooked and tonight, everything was undercooked and we were ignored most of the night because I had a question regarding something I ordered. I had accidentally ordered the wrong thing and they still wanted to charge me for the correct one and the incorrect one. Waited 30 minutes for a lemonade and 50 for our meals that were undercooked and cold. If you want good service, don’t sit in the dining but sit at the bar. The bartender is amazing and I always have a great experience with her! It felt like our waitress ignored us most of the night and the woman who I’m assuming was a manager seemed to have an attitude with us too. All over me not specifying between steamed and fried dumplings.”

“Best chicken parm and meatball subs I ever had!! Obvious owners makes them from scratch, not frozen from a bag. Lemon & expresso tiramisu and is to die for!! Highly recommend this.”

“Absolutely fantastic service!
They catered our wedding and were timely, delivered & helped set up! Plus it was delicious and all the guests raved about it! Absolutely phenomenal experience. 5 stars because 6 isn’t an option. Definitely recommend a slice, or a fully catered event from them!!”

“Well, this was my first and last time at a Jersey Mike's! TBH, the Danny DeVito commercials made it look good but it was disappointing. I ordered the Big Kahauna chicken sub and asked Ian to leave the jalapeños out. After he asked if it was dine in or takeout, I said takeout. I paid, got my receipt (she asked me if I wanted a receipt!), which said "DINE IN" at the top, and went to the rest room, which took about a minute. When I came out and started waiting, people who'd ordered after me were getting their sandwiches. After 15 minutes I was just about to ask about mine when a woman in line said, "She's been waiting a long time!" The cashier went to look for my sandwich and it was sitting off to the side somewhere, all bagged up. Anyway, when I got it home and unwrapped it, it was just a mess, with everything mushed up and spilling out. It also had jalapeños on it. And it was really salty. I thought I'd give Jersey Mike's a try, I did, and I'm out!”

“The staff at the Topsham ME Aroma Joe's are fantastic -- always friendly, helpful and cheerful. I'm now a regular and look forward to it every week. (They even turn down the music for us hard-of-hearing folk.)”
