“Sterlingtown Bakehouse is one of those places that instantly makes you want to stay longer than you planned. We both ordered maple lattes with oat milk and they were absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced, lightly sweet, and really comforting without being overpowering. You could taste the quality of the coffee underneath the maple, which is always a good sign.

The service was genuinely great — friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being rushed. On top of that, the inside is incredibly cute and cozy, almost straight out of a Hallmark movie. It’s the kind of place that makes a simple coffee stop feel like a whole little experience. If you’re anywhere nearby in Maine, this is a must-stop.”

“Great place to get food and drinks. We usually go once a year in early fall. The waitstaff were super friendly and attentive, the atmosphere inside is warm and cozy. They have a good selection of beers and ciders. The most recent trip, the wings were amazing and in past, the tacos and chicken bowl were delicious. I wouldn't get the nachos or the Caesar salad again, but maybe that was just a fluke or since we arrived at the end of the day.”

“so it was only our second time in but the service was wonderful. food was okay had heard good things so we gave it a go. it seemed rushed and just okay but I'm not complaining, what was lacking in the food department was definitely made up for by the service, we will give it a go again and hope for a better delivery. everyone has an off night.”

“A wonderful local bakery with friendly staff. Their rosemary loaf is delicious! We visit Nobleboro from Connecticut a couple of times each year and we make sure we stop by to buy a loaf or two to take back with us.”

“Family and I stopped here in search of U-Pick blueberries on route to Acadia. Despite being toward end of season, Sweet Season Farm delivered outstandingly.

Location is a bit off the beaten path, but very much worth the peaceful drive and promise of separation from all too common summer crowds and vacationers. As others have said, the establishment owners are warm and pleasant folk. The picking area is an acre or two but boasted many rows of well tended bushes and a bounty of fruit. After 8 pounds harvested between four adults and two kids, we all settled for some tasty iced cream and said farewell.

All in all I could not have asked for a better experience. And we had it all to ourselves!”

“Love this place. People from all walks of life. You can talk to the table next to you, and it doesn't much matter where they're from. Does that make sense? Go... you will see what I mean. The food is fantastic. The service gets 5 stars from me because they do their best with the staff shortage in Maine. The atmosphere is all about the people. Sit down and strike up a conversation with the table next to you. You'll see what I mean. I'm a little upset that they got rid of the pool table, but I can live without it.”

“Had really low expectations here, as the area isn’t known for having great restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised. The nachos were good; burger was good, chicken parm was good, although the ribeye steak was mediocre. The fries are amazing. Waitress was attentive and prompt.”

“Standard Subway restaurant with friendly staff. They made great subs for us without much of a wait. More expensive than I rememberd...hadn't been to a Subway in more than 10 years, but still reasonably priced. We paid about 20 bucks for two steak and cheese footlongs with all kinds of veggies added to both.”
