“The food here NEVER disappoints, we’ve been a handful of times since moving to Bangor, but the bartender working tonight was so loud and obnoxious! She was yelling over the music (which wasn’t enough to warrant yelling) to chitchat with people dining at the bar. We could barely carry a conversation across the room, she was so disruptive. This is a small place, noise carries.

High marks because our actual server and food were great, but I’m pretty hesitant to come back simply due to the noise level.”

“Their lobster rolls are AMAZING, huge and delicious. Their French fries and coleslaw are the best. We got ours “to go”. Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). They deserve 10 stars, but 5 stars is the limit.”

“The customer service is top notch. I had a problem with one of the items we purchased, I called the store and it was immediately taken care of. The woman was polite, friendly and apologized for the mishap.”

“First time here this season and as usual, it did not disappoint! I ordered the crab roll instead of my usual lobster roll and it's an 11/10! Fresh hot hand cut fries, perfectly salted. Cold, crisp pickle. a generous portion of fresh crab in a tiny bit of mayo on top of a small perfect amount of lettuce, stuffed in a fresh buttered and toasted bun, and a 4oz container of fresh home made Cole slaw. It doesn't get any better, or more fresh! There's a reason they've won best food truck in the Bangor area for several years in a row. Pro Tip- eat the fries first! They're always fresh and hot, but if you don't eat them first, they cool off quick. They have 5 picnic tables with umbrellas you can eat at, or eat it right in your car. The cherry on top is the excellent choice of tunes playing, and the amazing customer service. Don't change a thing!”

“Amazing food with good quality folks, awesome sound system so you can actually hear the jukebox. Must recommend the “In The Pub” Smash Burger; 10/10 legitimately the best burger I’ve ever had. “I would absolutely recommend Smokey’s! We moved here from Texas and this is the closest we could get to good bbq here! My main note is that the Mac and cheese wasn’t hot (temperature wise, it was warm/cool) and I prefer my brisket to have a thicker bark on it but that’s purely personal preference. Everything was delicious!!”

“We had a rehearsal dinner catered by Moe’s a little over a week ago on Saturday night of Memorial Day Weekend. The event was in Bar Harbor. The food was excellent and plentiful. We had ribs, mac and cheese, cornbread, chicken, cold slaw , dessert and more. The two servers were the BEST. Mackie and Cody were great! Extremely personable and friendly to everyone. I would order from Moe’s again wthout a doubt.”

We have also had their turkey BLT, buffalo chicken wrap and ham Italian sandwich. They were flavorful and tasty. We have also enjoyed their grilled chicken Caesar salad as well as their garden salad, generous portions and great. And we completed our dining take out experiences with maple walnut whoopie pies…OMG!! Such goodness! “My sister and I had an excellent steak dinner on Sunday August 14th - the steaks were perfect! But the most amazing thing was the personalized service from Brian, the manager - let me explain - After dinner we started the arduous"trek" down Rt. 9 back home to Eastport. It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! Thank you Brian for helping an old lady assuage her worries - you' re a doll!”
