This is one of my families favorite restaurants in the area. We went out to dinner last night and Lindsey was our waitress... she was awesome. The atmosphere is nice - very cozy. The food was amazing! The other night - I started with a house salad, moved on to a haddock dish perfectly cooked with some parmesan with broccoli and mashed potato as sides. It was perfection! Then I finished with an apple tart and some ice cream... it couldn't have been any better!“

“Only been a few times but every time I'm blown away at how good the food is. The biscuits and muffins have the most amazing texture. The hot chocolate tastes homemade with frothed milk. Bacon and eggs are super high quality and cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic; very friendly. They even took care to let the chef know about my daughters celiac for her gluten free breakfast sandwich and marked it right on the container for us. Highly recommend!!!!“

“We visited Bolos last night for the first and definitely not the last time Saturday night. I’d highly recommend the Chips and Dip Trio and the GRILLED BURRITO was huge and filling (I recommend the Queso and Guac to go on top). Our dinner ambassador, Ashley, was extremely attentive and made sure we had an enjoyable evening. Other staff members were equally pleasant and friendly. “we make it a point to stop at this restaurant every year when we visit Maine. We learned this year that in November 2023 they had a fire at the restaurant. Since then the restaurant has been renovated, including a new head chef and a new name “Harpswell Schoolhouse”. Most of the staff is the same, professional and extremely detail oriented. The food was fabulous, excelling the great dishes of years past. The service is in the European style, that is to say it is not hurried. We highly recommend this upscale restaurant, it’s a gem!“

“I went to Peppers Landing at 11:30 for lunch and ordered the Brunswick lobster roll. The roll was tough and dry and I asked the server when this was cooked. They could only tell me it's reheated on the grill. This was The worst lobster roll I have ever had. The restaurant manager was gracious enough to give me a whopping $5 discount for the food. This meal was 30.00 including fries and Cole slaw. I will never go back.“

“When we are in town, we always go to J R Maxwells. Been coming here for 31 years and this used to be our favorite place and still is in Bath Maine. Was always a date night for us 31 years ago now we go because we love the atmosphere, the decor and the food.“

“went here for the first time the other day. i dont eat meat, but my friend wanted to go, so i just kinda went with it. got some mozzy sticks, caesar salad, and tater wedges!! mozzy sticks were average, tater wedges were yummy, but the caesar salad was absolutely bomb diggity. i am rather picky about my caesar salads, but this one was BUSS. the shreds of parmesan cheese mixed with that creamy ass dressing...i gotta tell ya, that was really a "zoo wee mama" moment for me LOL!!! 😂😂😂 my waitress was like lightning freakin mcqueen with how fast she got us our food, we were there 45 mins TOPS. i left a phat tip ;))) (an extra 5 dollars) because she was just as sweet as an apple. atmosphere was ight, every inch of the wall was covered with tv's tho which i thought was a bit much. also the only thing they were showing on the tv was literally just sports. sports sports and more sports. football, men, beer, sports. anyhow, it was overall a decent experience, so 4/5!!!“
