I stopped today on Feb 20 at 2:28pm (check #14039) for a quick meal of a #1 combo and after 4 other customers after me got their meals, I asked where my sandwich was. The guy who took my order said he didn’t know the chicken was done. He forgot the cheese I asked for and didn’t put down regular fries when I placed the order so I had to settle for spicy fries And they were cold when I ate them on the road.. Stopped in just before 5:30 pm on a Thursday in February. They had almost no food left. I ordered a two piece meal and was told they had no bone-in chicken ready and it would take 12 minutes to prepare. 20 minutes later I finally got the meal. Apparently they close at 6 pm in the winter which is ridiculously early for one of two dinner spots at a highway rest area. Also, their product board says the combo dinners include a small drink but I was told it didn't apply at this location.

It's a shame they are almost always out of something. I love Popeye's but this franchise should be closed and get another franchise that care about their business. If I had the money for the franchise I would run it much better!
