“Is this still owned by the Penrod family? Wanda and her husband were great friends of my grandparents who lived nearby on Pilot's Knob/Cemetary Lake. When My grandfather died in '87, they let my out of state family stay in cabins for free to attend the funeral. I have not been back in Coldwater, MI since then. I know the Penrod's were wonderful people. I was in Coldwater on average once a month growing up at my grandparents cottage and I have so many fond memories of that little on the water place.“

“Olivia was our server and she was great! Service was quick and she made sure we were ok the entire time. Atmosphere was good. Music was loud enough to not hear everyone else's conversations but low enough to hear pur own. Food was great!“

“We left the lamp for over a year due to personal reasons. About a month ago we decided to stop back in. We had a drink, ordered an appetizer and hung out. By the end of the night we decided we'd be returning more frequently! Jess is AWESOME! Very attentive! We've been back at least every other weekend to see Jess!“

“Sat at the bar 15 minutes no water just a beer. Waiting to get service. No tender to be seen.😞 But this to shall pass. Had to edit my post maybe she was having a bad day. Overall amazing staff that really care. Especially Lindsey she's amazing behind the bar.“

“The food was not only ready quickly, but was fantastic! my wife had the perch dinner. The perch was full of flavor with the right amount of breading. I had a specialty- twice smoked burnt ends over creamy gouda Mac and cheese. My plate looked like it came from a 5 star fancy restaurant! The pork was delicious, soft and great smoked flavor. The Mac & cheese was very creamy and complimented the pork perfectly.“
