“This place has in my opinion the United States best tasting prime rib. I lived near here as a kid and had their several times then I moved to Seattle and I’ve had prime ribs from restaurants there San Francisco Europe. Nobody yet has beat them in my opinion.“
“We had an outstanding breakfast here. The only thing was I had to go next door to the station to get French vanilla creamer and had to pay for a small coffee to get the creamer. Other than that, it was AVERY good breakfast, great service...Parking: My dad is disabled and in a wheelchair, they accommodated us right up front, and their handicap parking is right outside the door..Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is right up front of the building, and you can easily get into the building with a wheelchair. Great accessibility“
“We revisited PJs and were not disappointed! We ordered the Gobbler and the Famous Pastrami hot sandwiches for lunch. Ingrediants were freah, breads tender and tasty and the meats drool worthy. The food still great and staff all warm and friendly.“
“This place was gorgeous. But make sure your driver is working for you because if not it can be a long day. Lots of elevation. Rolling fairways. It’s longer than many courses I usually play. Lots of mid to long irons in for me from the middle tees. But also 5 tees to shorten or lengthen the hole. The greens are really big so you can get on but also can have very long putts on greens with plenty of pitch. Lots of bunker guarded greens as well as plenty of fairway bunkers in typical landing zones. Some stunning par 3s. Just an all around great course. For the money, you really can’t beat it. I’ve played courses that cost 3 times as much that weren’t as nice. Definitely recommend!“
“Had Michelle as my sever and can only say that she was the best I have had in any restaurant in a long time since maybe even before covid . Will definitely be back couse the food was hitting all the right notes last night!!!!!!Parking: Spacious parking lot with easy access to diner!!!!“
“EDIT HAS BEEN ADDED AT THE END! Thank you Rick Slone.Sandhill used to be one of my partners favorite places to dine. We go out two to three times per week so had gone there often. Suddenly awhile ago we would go during regular hours to find their big neon open sign on but the doors were locked. So we stopped going there. On 2/28 a group of friends were meeting there and said the place was under new ownership so we decided to give it another try. The food was decent and we enjoyed ourselves. When the bill arrived I thought “wow, the beer must be really expensive because our food wasn’t that much but that seems to be the price of dining out these days” I added what amounted to be a 23% tip because I always give 20% and round up to the nearest dollar. When I got home I happened to look at my receipt before tossing it to see how much the beer actually was. It was $3 each, so not exorbitantly expensive. What I was surprised to see was they had already added a 20% gratuity to the amount. This brought my total tip on what the actual price of our order was to 49%! I have been to restaurants where they do this with groups but they make announcement at the table that gratuity has already been added. No such announcement was made. On the 29th I stopped by the place to talk with the owner. They were not present but the bartender said she would have them call me. A few hours later I received a call from Bennett, she was extremely rude and even hostile from the start. She informed me it’s posted on the front that a tip is added to all parties over 8 people. I explained that most people don’t read signs and furthermore I did not open the door, someone was entering in front of me and held the door. I also stated that any place I have been where the tip is already added the wait staff makes an announcement to the table that gratuity is already added. With her voice raised she informed me that the sign is on the front because the waitress doesn’t have time to make an announcement. I thought that was pretty lame but said if the staff isn’t going to tell you then it should be put on the menu where people will actually see it. She stated that there’s no room on the menu and yelled at me, “You know our waitresses only make $5 an hour not $12?!” I stated that I am aware that wait staff are underpaid, that is why I always tip 20%. What I was thinking but did not state was that I do not believe I need to make up for the current system of low wages and tipping by tipping what wound up being 49% on our actual total. She yelled at me, “I have already apologized what do you want me to do?!” Well, actually she had never apologized, she gave me excuses while using a raised voice and hostile attitude. I told her I wanted some of my money back but what I had actually wanted when talking to them was for them to understand that they should in fact tell people when they have already added the gratuity and to be decent and even apologize. All I received was hostility and excuses. After that I was so so furious I only said I wanted some of my money back because I was too polite to say what I was actually thinking. A place could have the best food in the world but if they treat their customers poorly they will not be getting my business. So I guess this is forewarning, if you choose to dine here, check your bill thoroughly and I hope you get better treatment than we did.EDITED TO ADD: 3/3/24 I received a call from Rick today, the actual owner of the restaurant and have changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. He had heard what happened from another member in our group and was quite upset about the whole situation. He purchased the place a month ago and has been working to turn it around. He talked to me about all of my concerns and assured me things will be changing. He has definitely taken care of us and we will be returning.“
“Old school diner. Love it. Pancakes and crepes were really good. That dang microwave bacon broke my heart on an early Sunday morning. Thin and flavorless. Service was great, and the food came out quick enough, even though they were busy when we arrived. Not much beats the corner booth at a classic American diner.“
“Adore going tongramdnriver brewery! Great food, great service! This time Heidi was our server, she was so patient and helpful! We had the cheese curds and poutine which was yummy! We also had 2 salads which was the Santee Fe and the apple cheddar which was amazing. Much more lightly dressed then what was anticipated!“
“I've been a customer of Stagecoach for the last 3 years, and they never disappoint. Staff is incredibly cool and friendly, always ready to suggest something, and to even try and make a new cocktail.Service, music, drinks, food. Everything is perfect always. Love them!“
“It was an amazing revisit of my child hood. And a pretty awesome first visit for my new found friend.Parking: It is drive in dining. Our waitress came to us. She was amazing. I only wish I could remember her name so I could give her proper recognition for the outstanding service she provided.“
“I came here all season long with my family in the 90s. As an adult it was nice to show my husband and stepdaughter a place so close to my heart! I chose fall season as first exposure because the grounds didn't seem as packed. The petting area was still full of animals. We all ate afterwards and had a homemade ice cream. I didn't take any pictures of the food it was so delicious I forgot to! Hubby and I are going to check out some dinner theatre next season! Can't wait!“
“Camping at Turkeyville is worth it I think but then again I wasn’t paying to camp and I’m sure it’s pricey! But I do know they always have something going on for everyone to do and a pool to stay cool lots of fun and entertainment for adults and kids“
“First time turned into multiple times. Cool place great service. Only been there for lunch but the quality of food is awesome!! Made me an amazing BLT. Bacon was perfect, bread was toasted! Fries were great. My new go to now when I am in Marshall!!“
“The combination of cheeses and the caramelized onions made the whiskey burger absolutely delicious. Onion rings were great as well. Nice selection of beers on tap. A little crowded for my taste, but that's what happens when you have a great product that people want. Thanks for a great lunch & we'll definitely be back.“
