“Food - Our absolutely favorite spot in town! Hands down, top 3 burger contendor in GR. Amazing staff - kind and friendly, all good at mixing up a drink! You have to try a "Rob bomb". Atmosphere - This team really knocks it out of the park. Always an awesome vibe with lots of live entertainment! All in all, an amazing establishment. Definitely what Grand Rapids needs!“

“This is the second time we’ve visited here! The first was last October when we were fueling up for the half marathon in Grand Rapids. On Saturday we visited and tried some new things that we haven’t had before. We ate about half the menu the first visit (all of which were amazing), and the second visit did not disappoint. The menu is fantastic and there’s something for everyone. The coffee menu is also good! The atmosphere is comfortable and unique. We live a couple hours away and would definitely make the trip again just to visit this place.“
“Great Mediterranean Cusine! The white steamed rice bowl with steak and veggies is amazing!“

“First time here and we really enjoyed it. The bruschetta was super good. I had the confit chicken rotini pasta that had pesto and pine nuts. Not very much chicken or pine nuts on the dish for a $24 meal but it was really tasty. My husband has the salmon and said it was really good as well. We both enjoyed our wine and some gelato. We will return! Service was great and it was a nice atmosphere! Just took one star away because it was a little on the pricey side. 2 glasses of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 meals, and some gelato was over $100.“

“Awesome dive bar in GR. Matty was our server and he was seriously one of the best waiters my husband and I have ever had. Little dark inside, don’t remember seeing windows, but plenty of seating at the bar and tables. They had great drinks and drink prices. Pull tabs too! We will definitely “
“Cozy place Great Service!“
“This boutique amaro and wine bar is a fabulous little spot, particularly for those of us interested in learning more about amaro, and natural wines. The aesthetic is warm and original; complementing its neighboring spot "Buffalo traders lounge". The mid century modern vibe is curated with jazzy tunes and a dart board in the back. Our bartender was extremely knowledgeable and helped me navigate the right amaro for me. While I'm still not sold on the flavor of natural wines, it was interesting to learn about them. If you are hesitant, the bartenders are happy to explain and let you taste them. As for me, I'll stick with their extensive selection of boutique amaros and Negroni skills. I think East town is the perfect spot for this unique concept and I'm excited to return and find more complex amaros to stock in my repertoire.“

“We had a small dinner reception in the Elevated Room at Divani on our wedding day in September, and were absolutely blown away! The food, the service, the atmosphere - everything was 5 star. Every single person we encountered was so kind and accommodating. Wendy was also an absolute DREAM to work with. I went back and forth with Wendy for about a year while planning our wedding. Celebrating here was the perfect ending to a perfect day, and we cannot thank you all enough!“

“Beautiful ambiance, speedy service, delicious food, hospitable staff.Eastern Kille has knocked it out of the park.We have been accustomed to their delicious cocktails, but, we were skeptical of how they would execute food and a full scale restaurant scene. No disappointment here. 10 out of 10. From the beautifully designed dining area and patio to the attention of service staff executing quickly during a busy Friday night service, every part of our experience was top notch. The food rivaled Michelin Star restaurants, the chicken liver pate special was well balanced, the bread warm and crisp. The black garlic Caesar had the correct balance of flavors and substituted croutons with a delightfully crisp crumble which remained crisp the entire time we enjoyed it. The pizza crust is perfection and the cocktails, as always, were a chartreuse on top of a beautiful experience. So happy to see the growth and to see expansion done well, keep it up Eastern Kille!“

“Loved ❤️:• the atmosphere - sitting on the patio was beautiful!• the food - tasted great. I especially loved the fries and aioli. (My veggie burger was good, but could have used a bit more flavor, and I enjoyed the regular salad, but nothing to write home about!)Didn’t love:• the service - it was truly horrific. Our waiter took our orders, then came back 5 minutes later to confirm he got it all right (only to mess one up). But the worst part was the complete oversight. We asked for an extra plate multiple times before he brought it, and ended up getting a to-go container ourselves, because after asking a couple times, he never brought one. I didn’t even bother asking for ketchup, because I knew we wouldn’t get it.•portion size - good food, but very small potions! The fries were a $2 up charge and we got maybe 15 total (the pic is before any were eaten).“

“Recently went on a friend trip and stopped in for dinner with a group of friends. The food was amazing, our server Rhea was super attentive, polite, and efficient! I highly recommend the Amish chicken, deviled eggs, bison ribs, and crab cakes! The only downside was the bathroom wasn’t very tidy and the bartender with the short dark bob hairstyle, that was working on the third floor on 05/11/24 was extremely unprofessional and rude. I went to the bar to ask for another set of silverware for the table and she turned her back on me. The other young lady at the bar politely helped me. During our whole meal she stood at the bar staring at us with her face turned up which made me super uncomfortable. One bad apple can ruin a great place!“

“We had a great experience. The food was great. My wife had the tacos and I had the ribs. I would highly recommend both. The atmosphere of this place was unbelievable. There is so much to look at. The server we had was helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The drinks were the highlight of the evening. There is so much to choose from, and I would say each one was a vacation in a cup. All in all, it was a highly enjoyable time.“
“Another great GR restaurant. We've been in twice now. If you find seats at the bar while waiting for your table expect prompt friendly service. They are definitely on top of things. Table service has been a bit mixed. Sometimes it's great sometimes you wait 15 min for salt and pepper when it's not busy enough to warrant that. On our first visit we had a delightful server, Jordan. She was a great help to me communicating with the kitchen and exploring some dinner options that I could have with my allergies. We started with the Focaccia. For dinner I decided to go with the Rigatoni w/the sauce from the Ravioli as it was allergy friendly. The sauce was nice and not sweet thankfully. I've had this dish a few times and the only thing I can say is that the Pasta is a little too Al Dente even for this Italian girl. My husband went with the Rustica Pizza. He liked it but wasn't blown away. He also ordered the Bolognese on a different night. He thought it was more of a meat sauce than a traditional Bolognese which has less tomato to it. He did enjoy it though. Cocktails and Wine selection are good. Definitely going to keep this in our rotation“

“Best Bar Brunch I've had in a long time. The food came as fast as a fast food joint, but was so much better. Bloody Mary's are peppery. They take their soccer (sorry Football ends with the Super Bowl) seriously, which is either a plus or minus depending on your opinion of "the elegant game." I want to go back to this place.“
“Such a fun game to play with friends! Nice space, staff and bar were really nice. Will be back!“

“I was so excited to try this newish restaurant and I'd love to give this place a stellar review...but I just can't. I find that although the service was fine (4), the wine list extensive (5), and the ambiance lovely (4) ... the food was just ok (3). We shared the morel mushroom ravioli appetizer and the morels were so puréed and diluted that there was no mushroom flavor whatsoever...we also ordered two main entrees which we shared. The chicken was delicious but was just brown colored chicken served over a brown mushy bread with a brownish sauce... and nothing else on the plate. The chicken was cooked well and was somewhat flavorful but the appearance was such a monotone that is was really unappealing. The walleye was a fairly large portion ... but again came as a white color with a white sauce served on a white plate with not one single colorful garnish or vegetable/etc. .... And seemed to be prepared by boiling. My opinion is that for the price they could downsize their entree meat portion size and add a colorful side... maybe tonight asparagus would have been available and delightful. Also .... Having garlic listed as the main spice for every dish is a poorly planned menu. Please try harder... we would love to come back!“

“Grand Rapids Top Place for a perfect steak! They never fail to impress with their exceptional tastes. Listening to Frank Sinatra, enjoying a drink, eating my steak, dimmed lighting, is a definition of a perfect night... drinks took a little long, at first, but it's not a big deal when the food and ambience is top tier.“

“My family and I have always been huge lovers of HopCat, especially with new additions and old favorites on the menu. Just the other night, my (pregnant) sister was craving a Cobb salad, so naturally I offered up a crowd favorite. When ordering online, we weren’t able to choose the option for crispy or grilled chicken, but after a few seconds on the phone, Zach the manager, was able to oblige despite being told previously by another coworker that they would be unable to make the exception. Something as small as the breading of the chicken, made our night! The food is always a delight, but this time the service exceeded our expectations! Thank you, HopCat!“

“Handy location - easy to walk to either on the street or skyway. Amazing food choices - variety of types and all made with high level of quality. Service was exceptional- right pace of checking in without being a bother. Very knowledgeable about the menu and beverages. Tap beer options are not very many, but more choices in bottle and can then there's the amazing wine selection and wide range of Michigan spirits to choose from“

“My boyfriend and I stopped here on our anniversary in December and really enjoyed our experience. They are very creative with their drinks and add very cute garnishes and things of the like that fit a theme. The lighting is stunning and really sets a great vibe for an evening with your partner. They allowed me to sample their old fashioned options, which was so kind of them. I loved their old fashioned drinks so much, I bought my dad their holiday pack of 3 flavors for Christmas! He LOVES them too. Can't wait to be back!“

“Such a very cool and exciting space right in Breton village. Many vegan and dairy free options available for my lactose intolerant stomach to digest, which makes me VERY happy. The walls and decor and overall vibe are so eccentric and inviting.the siracha honey glaze on the pretzel sticks are absolutely delicious as was the southwest chicken bowl and the vegan donut sundae. Definetley worth coming in and checking out if you haven't tried it!“

“I went here as I live close by. I went in and sat at the bar, was waited on immediately. I let the bartender make me a drink she designed. A spin on an old fashioned, with rum and pineapple whiskey, very tasty! I got a lime fizz and OMG, so flipping good! I let bartender decide on my third and she did me right with a delicious old fashioned that was smokey and just plain delicious. Not only were the drinks perfect, she used a straw to taste what she made before serving a mark of a true professional. Being into the culinary arts you MUST taste what you nake prior to serving and drinks are no different. Great job! Highly recommend this place for top notch drinks....and good "bar snacks" too.“

“Very impressed! Every part of Bier Distillery was fantastic. The drinks were delightful, the food was fantastic, and the service was stellar. There was something to drink for everyone. I tried a few different beers while my wife and a few different cocktails. Every one of them was delicious.I ate the Apple pie burger, I was skeptical but it was perfect. My wife had the Apple Gouda Toastie and loved that as well. On the side we tried the dill pickle soup and fries. I was also skeptical of the soup but that was one of the best soups I’ve ever had. The seasoned fries were wonderful fries as well. It’s difficult to have an amazing food menu, a perfectly crafted drink for any occasion and have terrific service. However, Bier Distillery pulled it all off.We will absolutely be back and I will be recommending Bier Distillery & Brewery to everyone.Kid-friendliness: There were kid friendly food and drink options on the menu.“
