“Good food For the neighborhood“

“Nice local spot, affordable, very tasty, with good customer service. Puts you in mind of a coney island restaurant. I had a corned beef pita with fries. It was delicious and the meat was juicy and moist, they gave a generous amount of fries. The only downside is they don't give a pickle with it. Otherwise everything was great. 10/10 I definitely recommend.“

“I originally sent out to go to the house of Ruben down the road but they were closed so I decided to stop in here for the corned beef eggrolls. Let me tell you they’re better than the Asian corn beef eggrolls. In my opinion I would definitely recommend a place for eggrolls and they’re not small either.“

“I usually dont do reviews. I just ordered thru Doordash chicken Alfredo it was great I was impressed. A large portion flavor good me and my 2 teen boy and teen daughter ate off of one portion. We also had a grilled chicken salad we split and everyone was full with leftovers to spare. Ty I definitely will be making this my go to spot.“

“First time here and absolutely loved my experience. Super cozy, the staff are really lovely and friendly. Our coffee was constantly being refilled 😍🙏☕ and I got my daily dose of veggies! All of the food was delicious!!! I loved the fun fly themed atmosphere too. Parking is around back and you can pay through the city of Ferndale app or scan the code to pay. “10/10 for this home run of a restaurant. I generally don't eat breakfast in the morning but my stomach said otherwise today. I tried to ignore the hungry vibe I was getting but I failed. While driving I saw the sign and said why not. Let's give it a shot. I'm ecstatic that i did so. I had the "meat wrap" and let me tell you it was heaven in a tortilla for this breakfast carnivore. I will definitely be a regular there for now on. The hospitality and warm smiles definitely started my day off right. Thanks guys!!“

“On July 22/26, my friend and I visited the Howard Ave. Hi-Ho Restaurant. We both ordered the Turkey Club Wrap, and Italian Wedding Soup. We both agreed it was the most delicious lunch ever!!! The lovely young lady who accepted and delivered our orders was very kind and helpful and had a very genuine happy smile when we were greeted. We will continue to make this restaurant our “Go To” place for breakfast/ lunch, with it’s many yummy meal choices, clean and comfortable surroundings and happy staff and customers. Thanks. 🙋‍♂💕“

“I had breakfast at Nanas kitchen this morning. After eating, talking with company I noticed the cook wasn't wearing gloves while handling the food. He handled bacon, wiped his hands on his apron, proceeded to grab his phone and coffee and talking to customers. Not washing hands before returning to handling food. Another cook also started, no gloves, while grabbing bacon, pile of hash browns with 2 hands, in-between grabbing the trashcan from under the counter. The service and food was good but seeing the above grossed me out. Waitress was told but, said she would say something but I continued watching the cook handling food with no gloves until we left.“
