“Bar of Legend;
those hallowed floors moaning secrets
Holding spirits within its wooden embrace.
Awesome Service, the platinum status of any DiveBar I've ever walked into.. from the OG rotary-phonebooth to even having a pool table.. NOT for the pinkie-in-the-air or wine drinker type of establishment.. absolute must!! 💯 visit for the authentic dive and historic bar connoisseur. Need to come back n hang with the cool bartender n maybe a ghost or 2 🍻👻 🍺“
“Best and most famous dive bar in Detroit. This place has been family owned for 100 years. It's very welcoming to whoever shows up. Straight, Gay, young, old weird or cool everyone hangs out here! No food besides chips. Its a block away from Little Caesar's Arena and across the street from The Masonic Temple (hence the name) so its perfect for a pre or post show round or two. Tell George and Larry that Perry's review sent you!“

“Great 'dive' bar with real good food and an exceptional jukebox.“
“It’s like a cheers atmosphere. Everyone is so nice. The food is tasty and fresh. Bob is the best like a Clint Eastwood you can hug. Dave is cool and cooks excellent. The drinks are good and affordable. Try a game of pool or just chillax to good music. Crowd mixed. Bathroom is clean.“
“Great People , Great food, awesome entertainment “
“Was in Bajhrain and staying at Diplomat. Remembered this place from previous visit.Its close by and does what it says...Old fashioned pub with good food. Only bad thing was it had a live band the night we went. Food good and service very good.“

“Shot and beer kind of place. There are always some characters on hand. From experience, it is not the best place to have to poop, just fyi. The backyard in the summer is a super cool space to chill w a group. Prime real estate is by the koi pond.“
