“I was tagged in a post today that my name was on the board for a free cupcake (1st timer) And I was in the area so I stopped in for that and a few treats for the rest of the family. The young lady that was working this evening had a great recommendation on the cupcake, absolutely delicious. cookies n creme, just do it (in the fridge ? ) but what was even better was her customer service and she was such a sweet girl. She was welcoming, smiling and very nice, we chatted for a couple minutes. Good recommendations for treats. I've worked in customer service for close to 20 years and it's the young ladies like that that make going places a better experience and I give credit where credit is due. well done. five stars directly to the young lady working this evening April 1st! will definitely be back!“

“We were a lively party of eighteen, on a Thursday evening, April 18th, '24.Our server Rosie S. was unrivaled in her duties as server; her poise, professionalism and personality were stellar. And assisting her were several spot on food runners. Kudos to each and everyone.Also, a special shout out to Alecia, the barmaid, who did the pours before we joined the gathering. “Quinton did a fantastic job with our service tonight. He was attentive but not overbearing (refilled my drink silently before I even thought to ask for a refill) and overall, I think he does a fantastic job as a waiter. Great demeanor, easygoing and kind. The food was great and came out promptly and was hot too. Overall very pleased.“

“I see that the restaurant is reading these reviews, which I love, so I'm going to register my one and only complaint here without dinging the stars because I really do love this place..... But please fix the rice krispie treats!!!! They used to be so good, so perfectly textured, and perfectly moist (that's not the word I'm looking for but you catch my drift.) The last two times I've gone, which were both within the last 6 months, the rice krispie treats are dry and sad and not good. Like, not even a little good. The marshmallow to krispie ratio is way off, or they're old and dry or something. The rest of the food (main entrees) are still always perfection. I love this place. But please, I'm begging you, fix the rice krispie treats!!!!“

“Amazing experience. They were incredibly sweet when we ordered on the phone and when I arrived the lady was really friendly. She asked me about my day and job and just genuinely kept me engaged in easy conversation while they finished up. We ordered subs and they were divine. The ham and cheese was exactly what you want in a ham and cheese, and the buffalo chicken was incredible. The salad was delicious too. Definitely our new sub spot.“

“Within Grand Rapids, The Cheese Lady is the closest to gourmet vegan cheese to be found. They usually have multiple options of vegan cheeses with varying style, flavors, and textures. It is not the widest selection of vegan cheeses I have seen at a fromagerie, but I am very thankful for the vegan options they have. Depending on availability, they usually have 3 to 5 cheese options. Speaking with the cashier, she shared that the vegan cheeses are regionally crafted within Michigan, but not in-house. Regardless, the vegan options are rotating and fresh because of them being locally sourced. It is nice to see new options when I visit, and it is nice that they allow sampling of all the flavors. “Found the cooking class from a local magazine suggestion. Went online to the website and reviewed all the classes we chose pasta 101 . Called, paid up front and classes were booked out 3 weeks. We chose a Sunday afternoon. The town is very eclectic where this restaurant storefront is located at. Parking is available but it's very compact. We had a large truck so finding parking was a bit challenging. This is a store location but also a cooking location. So when you walk in, you are able to purchase pastas, cheeses, wines, olive oil, many options are available if you did not book a class. Hopefully we did. When we were greeted we were provided with a wine liquor menu to start. This is also an option even if you are just shopping. The location is clean, well decorated, bright, smelled wonderful and overall very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. WOW! What a great interactive experience. We bought the class for two and when we arrived we had the class and the instructor all to ourselves. So it definitely made for a personal experience. Extremely pleased with the environment, all the attention to detail and friendly personalities. Bianca was knowledgeable, fun to learn from, helpful, and thorough on how to make the most out of pasta. Everything we made we were able eat or take it home if we couldn't finish. We were taught how to make a caprese salad. Then we were given space and time to eat. Then we were brought back and taught how to make ravioli stuff with cheese. Then we're giving the time and space to eat it. It was an overall wonderful dining experience. Great for many varieties of date night ideas, anniversary, bachelorette parties or even team building experience. The cost might seem expensive but for The quality of care, ingredients and time I highly recommend.“

“Lias pizza has to be the best pizza place that I have ever been too. There pizza is amazing and the employees were so nice and very friendly. They didn’t just have pizza we also got the cookie dessert which was delicious and the subs were great too. There is not one bad thing that I can think of about Lias Pizza. I highly recommend than everyone in the Kentwood area should go to Lias Pizza.“

“We stopped after a visit to House Rules across the street, and.the Happy Cat Cafe before that, and it was fantastic as always. I tried their Amaretto Cherry for the first time, and absolutely loved it.Kid-friendliness: Many traditional favorite flavors, but plenty of fun ones for the more adventurous kids or for grown-ups.“
