“I had the corned beef hash with gluten free toast. It was very, very good. I almost did not go here because the ratings were so bad, and the food I had elsewhere in the hotel was also not great. I didn't want to leave the hotel so I gave it a try. I was thrilled with breakfast. The corned beef hash was perfect, homemade, well seasoned. The gluten free toast was probably the best I've ever had. The servers were lovely. 10/10 breakfast I'd gladly eat it again.

Despite unexpected weather challenges on the day of wedding and reception, the resort team mobilized the staff that quickly restored everything to help carry the celebration forward. The Grand Traverse Resort team worked very well together and looked after each event to oversee that no stone was left unturned ensuring an outstanding setup and a memorable event delivery. “If you have to get fast food may as well be Culver's as it's better than any other drive thru I've been to. Great service and fair prices. Butter burger was delicious and made fresh. Onion rings were subpar- could have been thicker rings. Cheese curds were alright. Ice cream was great.“

“While staying in Traverse City, we ventured upon this delicious restaurant. The food was amazing, from the appetizers to the entrees,to the sides, and the drinks; everything was delicious! I would highly recommend their Smoked Cherry Sour, the Smoked & Deep-Fried Wings, the Sword Fish & Black Lentils, and the Smoked Pork Rinds. And the staff? They were friendly and accommodating. We just might have to visit again before we journey home. There were additional items on the menu I was curious to try.“

“A pretty good spot. Most menu items are between $10-20. We did not order a burger, but there are 10 or so unique burgers on the menu. The jalapeño popper items (omelettes, burgers) really stuck out to me. I had the Philly wrap, it was great. Portions are not super huge, which is just fine. Cole slaw quality needs to be checked, that or it is just not their best item. The interior is very homey and will remind you of your home town diner.“

“We got to eat at J&S Hamburg new location in Kingsley and my goodness it was delicious!!! The atmosphere was homey and very clean! While it was very busy in there our food came out quickly and not once did we feel rushed. We will be back! 🧡🖤☕️“

“A local told us we needed to visit here while in town and we are SO glad we came. If you are a fan of sour beers, they have a great Jolly Pumpkin brand selection.
The vibe of this building is second to none. Spooky yet cozy at the same time. Service was top tier. Our server, Penashe, was always on time and personable. She helped curate the Jolly Pumpkin experience.
We got truffle fires as an appetizer and they were some of the best truffle fries I’ve had. Fresh, truffle, Parmesan cheese coated goodness. The pepperoni pizza we got was AMAZING. I love good pizza, and this was GOOD pizza. Crust was perfect, dough was house made, perfect ration of pepperoni. We finished our meal off with the Pumpkin Cake and it was 10/10.
Overall, this place is a local legend. If you’re in the area, you MUST come here.“

“Would I recommend? Hmm. Our server was great ( I wish I got her name) but she was overwhelmed and they were under staffed. The food? Not great. Everything was overdone. The cornbread was dry. I ordered the seared tune salad and the tuna was more medium well. The music could have been a little more upbeat for a weekend. While we all ( a party of 6) ate our food, it wasn’t the greatest. It may have just been an off night, every restaurant has some. I felt bad for our server. She was such a sweetheart. She can’t control the cooking staff or management. Management needs to learn that they need to take better care of their staff to make sure that patrons experience is above satisfied. Will I come back? Maybe. But it might be a long while? Will I recommend? If someone asks me about I will be honest. Will I come out and say you have to go there? No. But I won’t discourage anyone from trying it.“
“I was staying there do to my significant other in the hospital for a motorcycle accident. There was a few housekeepers there I talked to personally and I want to tell everyone what a amazing job they did to make sure all of our needs were met, as of fresh towels, blankets, and what ever else we needed.. thanks again and God bless each and everyone of you..“

“The staff as incredibly friendly and very accommodating. As someone with celiac disease, the staff was very knowledgeable and made sure to take precautions for my meal. The environment was great, not too busy. And the fall view before sunset and then sunset was a perfect romantic setting.“
