“Went for lunch and honestly probably won't need dinner tonight because the portions were amazing. The soup and salad bar hit the spot, with some delicious and creative soups, and matched with a great salad selection. We enjoyed every part of our meal and the service, even had to take a slice of carrot cake to go because who can turn down homemade desserts.”

“I needed eight pizzas for my manufacturing team in Pellston on the Saturday after the last big blizzard. I called BC Pizza of Alanson right at 11am so I could get pizza to my crew as fast as possible. These folks were on it. The service was super friendly, the pizza was hot out of the oven and it was delicious. Thanks for making a long week a lot better. Will definitely be back!”

“Can’t say enough great things. Great beer, great food. The outdoor seating was outstanding for a large group. And management supports animal welfare! Don’t leave your dogs in the car! Management was quick to identify patrons and address the issue of dogs in the car on a hot day. The place is dog friendly, so it made zero sense for dogs to be left in the car. The response was very much appreciated.”

“Been living in Northern Michigan for over 10 years and never knew about Crooked Tree Breadworks until now. This artisan bakery has amazing breads and pastries. The Epi Baguette is fantastic, as is the classic sourdough bread. Tried the orange currant scone and it was delicious. The holiday stollen was reduced to six dollars. There were boxes leftover from Christmas so I bought one. Honestly, the stollen was too old and stale to have been sold to customers. Even though I warmed and toasted the stollen, it was still tasteless. So glad I came here twice because they do have outstanding artisan baked goods but prices are somewhat steep which is expected in an affluent place like Petoskey.”

Answer...No.Super friendly atmosphere with ample seating inside and out if you wish to sit outside. 90 percent skiiers/snowboarders but there seem to be a few locals that like to visit depending on the weather. Everyone there is there to have fun. You can make new acquaintances there if you like, or just chill out minding your own business.The pub requires guests to be 21 +, so leave the kids behind if you can.Bob the bartender is a great guy and a professional. He will set you up. Drinks only. No food options in the pub.Friendly hint, if possible bring a few bucks cash with you to tip. The credit card machine does not allow a person to add gratuity. I don't normally carry much cash anymore. What little I did have went into the tip jar. I will know better next time.”
