“Slow in the winter but still has great food! Saturday's they have wings and 6 different sauces to eat them with! All the sauces are delicious and the wings are good just by themselves. The loaded tots are also very good. Excited to try more than just wings. Only complaint is flat beers on tap. Just needed a new keg.“

“We visited about an hour before close on Saturday night, and the place was full of smiling people. The staff seemed rather busy hanging out with the patrons, which is just fine. The vibe of the place was very neighborhood Restaurant, and soon enough the staff noticed us and got us seated. We got the peanut butter and jelly burger, which the staff seemed a little bit weirded out by, but it was really good. The fries were also fantastic, but for $3.40, there should have been quite a bit more of them. The pizza was absolutely loaded, crispy, and full of fresh ingredients. We definitely enjoyed that as well. They have a pretty extensive beer menu, but it's on a very small screen that moves way too fast to really see. It would have been nice to have a printout or something so that we didn't feel like we were struggling to see what was available. All in all, if I were in the area again, I would probably make my way back, especially if they stop being so stingy with the fries.“

“LOVE their barbecue chicken pizza!! Service is good too, especially the bartenders. We drive from 25 minutes away and that pizza is so worth it. Also, they know how to pour a drink. A 5 star pub is hard to find, but these guys (and ladies) nailed it!“

“Doesn't look like much when you drive by but this little hole-in-the-wall, dive bar serves up cold, frosty beers, average cocktails and unforgettable burgers. The main-stay is the Barney's burger. A tasty beef patty grilled to juicy perfection on a warm, soft bun (which really makes any sandwich-am i right?) topped with pepper Jack cheese and dressed with ketchup, mustard, onions and sliced pickles. You can also go deluxe with the burger dragged through the garden coming up for air with lettuce and tomato and a slather of mayo to highlight your bun! The onion rings are hand cut and battered and a served at 1000°F so be careful! Most patrons are locals but anyone can walk through the door and feel welcome.“

“This place is now called the Base but they have the same menu as advertised on their website. We went really early during a snow storm but the food was amazing. Pizza and Mac and cheese were amazing. Our waitress was awesome and attentive. We will definitely be back to try some other things.“

“The Pub is a hometown favorite! Thomas and crew have been doing allot with the place l. You want a good bar food and drinks this is the spot to go. Their boneless bbq wings and spicy cheese balls my all time favorite. They even do salads for those wanting a healthier option fyi they are BIG!! The staff is amazing and even when it's packed busy and full they make sure that you are taken care of. It's a go to for a Friday night dinner with friends or a Pub lunch is always a good time.“

“My wife and I came in for the special dinner. The bartender, Darla, even though she was very busy was still very attentive. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and the smoked prime rib dinner. All of which was amazing. It was cooked exactly how we ordered it. The portion sizes were just enough. This was our first time here after just moving into the area and will for sure be back. Very clean, great food and very friendly staff.“

“This was a spur of the moment stop, saw pics of the Burgers online and they looked delicious! Decided to give them a try and it was well worth it! I got a deluxe Cheeseburger & hubby got the olive burger. They were great & the service and atmosphere were excellent!A sign on their mirror behind the bar says where friends become family & I believe it just from the snippets that I heard of conversations around us. We will be visiting again!“

“I said to my husband, let’s go somewhere different. Well we did, 45 minutes drive later we get to Springfield Tavern. The warm welcome was only the start, of an incredible experience. The staff were like old friends, from times gone by, asking if I needed to know where to ladies room was to asking if dinner was cooked correctly. I have ordered the chicken carbonara, and I swear this is the only place in Brisbane where the carbonara is not served looking like a soup. My husband ordered the eye filet well done and once again most places serve it with a little pink on the inside, not last nigh. This in my opinion is an old school environment, you won’t find no half smart, faults eye lashes chic here, these are real people with real hearts, just trying to do there job, have fun at work, and to make sure you leave happy, and yes I want to go back. Thank you for an awesome night ?“

“I was only for in town for one evening, but I have a feeling this would be my go to spot for an evening beer if I lived anywhere near here. Beautiful views in the back and folks were friendly to a couple of out of towners I'm what definitely has a local bar vibe.“

“The only club on base at Fort Custer for soldiers to unwind after a long day. Custer's First Stand has been closed for renovations since November. The electrical job had been completed since then, but they do not have a new opening date. Instead they have chosen to demolish the facility and build a new one in its place. Bids have not been approved yet as far as I know. It looks like this bar will be permanently closed for at least another year.“
