“First time here. Waitress seemed a bit quirky, but it seemed like this was the norm from my mother who comes more regularly. For each order you can get a sample of their baked beans. Again, kinda odd in my experiences, but each place has their own things. The beans were good, btw. I ordered a burger that had bacon. Not sure exactly the name. It was good. The fries were also very good, better than expected. Portion sizes were respectable for the price. They make their own iced tea, and it was running a bit low on the several gallon jug they poured from. But it was good. I would go back again. My kids would like the place.“

“I ate at Mason Jar for the first time last week and we will definitely be back. One of the chefs, Chris, came out to our table to discuss options to accommodate food allergies at our table and was very thorough. He made us safe and delicious food. I especially enjoyed the chips and salsa and chicken tacos. My mom said the “Old Timer” burger was one of the best cheeseburgers she’s ever had. We are looking forward to going back! “so i ordered paddy joes for the first time. i never tried it before. i was so impressed i had the beef tips and noodles and it was so delicious with flavor and gave a really big serving enough for 2 meals. i highly recommended this place. ill definitely will be eating here a lot more. also i ordered through door dash my food was still steaming hot“

“If only Detroit had a BBQ restaurant as good as this one. I've tried a handful of items but always go back to the pulled pork platter, the pork being properly smoked low and slow with a nice bark on it. The sauces are also very tasty, not overpowering the meat (and thankfully, not out of a bottle like at the chain restaurants). The sides are also quite good; the macaroni and cheese is a nice pile of artery-clogging goodness! Can't go wrong here. We always stop in when visiting the Toledo Zoo.“

The fish and chips were good but the meat in my Reuben was tough and gristly. My husband asked for the manager and he, himself, re-made the sandwich and it was perfect. It was the most tender corned beef ever. I think they have the best Reuben in the Toledo area.“

“Got a whooper Jr combo...the person. In front of me left cause the drive thru line was having an issue. I pulled up to pay and explained what had happened. The manager came over to help the gentleman. She hands me,$.60 and says he overcharged me. I responded with, "I have not paid yet?" But told me to pull ahead. The next window handed me a drink, and I told her I did not pay yet, but she handed my food and said, "Don't worry about it, and to have a great day! So they paid me $.60 to get a #5 combo! Okay, then!“

“I had the beast burger deluxe on a homemade bun. Best burger I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection (medium). John was our congenial server. The atmosphere is homey, very comfortable! I cannot believe I've driven by this hidden gem for years! 1st time here and I will definitely return!!“

“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.“

“Me and my husband, Daughter & our 2 Granddaughters was here on August 1st 2022 The manager people call her Kim!! she was a work powerhouse it was only the Manager Kim & 2 other workers they all worked very hard as a team !!! ! “Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!

I'd place Culver's up in my top 3 places for burgers with five guys right up there and surprisingly Arby's but Culver's as my number one . Everything's made in house and fresh staff and service was amazingly fast and efficient. Tho you will wait acoupke mins for your food yes but it's minimal at that id say 5 mins maybe.“
