Berkley Coney Island Reviews
I have always gone here and always recommended it to others. Since the pandemic we mainly do carry out. Every other time I end up having to bring my order back bc somethings wrong or missing. The final straw was today when I ordered the strawberry pancakes and omelets, 4 meals total. They combined all the eggs, put the strawberries and whip cream on the pancakes instead of the side making the pancakes extremely soggy. The omelets barely had cheese. Berkley Coney Island is a popular spot for late-night cravings and very good breakfast, with great customer service from the cooks and waitstaff. While some staff may have off nights, the majority are friendly. The restaurant has a cozy and simple feel compared to others in the area, and the prices are affordable. The food, like the cheese fries and breakfast burrito, is always fresh and hot, with homemade-tasting liquid cheese. The breakfast burrito is particularly large and satisfying, and the corned beef hash and over easy eggs are also served here. Plenty of tasty coffee is available, though service can sometimes be inconsistent. Despite occasional hiccups with service, Berkley Coney Island remains a beloved local eatery for many residents, offering a tasty and satisfying dining experience with good portions and price. The atmosphere is great, though the parking lot and entrance could use cleaning.
