“I can’t rave enough about this place! The customer service was lovely and so welcoming and the food…WOW! 10/10! We tried the Jerk chicken and wing meals, festivals, beef patty, pineapple passion punch and the star of the show, oxtail gravy. The rice and peas and cabbage in the meals was so well flavored as well. I didn’t want to the meal to end! I can’t wait to get back there and look forward to the day when they will be open more frequently 🤞🏾We live more than an hour away and it was worth the drive! “AMAZING FOOD! The fried oyster mushrooms were to die for. The gyro, hands down the best gyro I've had, vegan or not. Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. I'm going to try to convince the boyfriend to swing through on the way back to Ohio so I can get another gyro.“

“Best steak sub/sammich ive had in a Loooong time. Easily rivals the best ive had from a Maryland philly steak place. So good I actually missed it 20 mins after I devoured it. "A sammich is a type of sandwich. However, it is not just any kind of sandwich. Any old schmuck can throw lunchmeat between two slices of bread and have a sandwich. But no. A sammich is not just a sandwich, it is not just a meal. Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. A sammich is a true work of culinary art; a feast on a bun, if you will. A sammich is not made of the best ingredients; it is made of the *right* ingredients. It needs the right meats, and the right cheese(s), the right sauce, the right veggies, and the right kind of bread. Taking footlong sub bread and throwing every kind of meat and cheese and everything else under the sun or in your kitchen pantry on it does not a sammich make. It is akin to an incohesive mishmosh of colors on an artist's easel. Sandwiches make a good snack, but sammiches are forever. ❤“

“The old locker room is where I met my husband of 35 years now, but the new locker has a great vibe as well. Food is Awesome, staff are friendly and helpful and the music brings a vibe that makes you happy and want to party. Let’s just say I love the Locker room. Ask for Lacey she’s the best waitress.“

“Dude's BBQ is sick. He hooks it up with extra sides too. However, it's first come, first serve. So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“I want to give a huge shout out to Here's the Scoop Ice Cream for showing up at a moments notice to Edison Elementary in Westland today for their field day when the Kona Ice truck we booked and paid for did not arrive. Here’s the Scoop came within 2 hours of my inital panicked phone call with enough ice cream for all 450+ kids. If you are in need of an ice cream truck in the future, please consider them. They really pulled through today for all our kids and we couldn’t be more grateful. 💙🍦“

The sides were good and I loved that they repped faygo for drinks but my tacos were truly explosive. Was hoping to go back the next day but then realized they were only open Sundays.“
