“Oh Happy day, this place closed months ago and was put up for sale. This great Greek family just reopened Monday, we had to visit. Yes same family, Ma & Pa with the daughter welcome all those long time customers with a smile. Thanks Sidney our superstar waitress, you a keeper. Check they Facebook page everyday for Specials. Had a outstanding sandwich named the Smokestack OMG. Corned Beef, Ham n Turkey on Toasted thick Greek Bread with Cheese and sauce. A true gut stuffer, could barely finish it. She had the half Deep Fried Chicken spot on delicious. Marvelous Bean n Ham Soup made in house. This folks a Downriver Gem , place been a restaurant over 80 years with different names. Easy to find just a hundred yards off I-75 the Rockwood exit. Spotless clean everything and friendly staff, a must visit. “Hands down the best burger! I’ve had burgers all over the place but this one must have crack in it because it was addictive from the first bite! Perfectly cooked, amazingly huge and down to the pickles, tomato and lettuce, fresh, crispy and on point!

One woman behind the bar and waitressing and another on the grill as the “Master of Meat”, this place is a local dive sensation!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars on atmosphere is because drunk people (like my sister, uncle and Aunt Kamala) are always annoying and should just stay home.

“I love going to Nocturnal! It's a special treat that I am absolutely willing to drive up to Monroe for. The drinks are tasty, the employees are friendly, and the decor and atmosphere are my favorite. I wish the location was larger, with more seating. It's a bit of a bummer to drive 40 mins and have the seating full with drinks "to go" only, but Nocturnal is still my favorite. Nothing but love. 🖤”

“We had a birthday/ graduation party at Sibley Gardens for our granddaughter last night. The food was outstanding. Our waiter did a outstanding job along with his buser. He did things up and beyond. He cut and served the cake we brought in. He also took a family picture for us. If you want to have a special day this is the place.”

“The absolute best little bakery and cafe. Everything and I mean everything is delicious. It’s all home made from scratch and so so so good. It’s one of those places you can take anybody to and they’ll find something yummy to eat. It feels so good to be able to go out with my little daughter and be able to feed her good food she actually is excited to eat. A very special place!

Kid-friendliness: They are SO good about your littles. My girl loves everything there, cookies, sandwiches, soups, quiche. The staff is super kid-friendly. We go so often, my 2 year old girl loves them all!”

“In town for Hockey and luckily found this Gem of a restaurant. Extremely reasonable prices, giant menu and the best breakfast I have had in years. The wait staff is great and so is the food. I made the "mistake" of ordering a dinner sized portion, thinking that the lunch size wouldn't be enough, but I was mistaken by a long shot. “We ordered a birthday cake and cupcakes for my niece 10 yr and my daughters 1st combo birthday party. Ive had their cake at family events but this was my first time. From the start to finish the experience was well worth the price! You get what you pay for couldnt be more true! One of the owners allowed a cake test and my niece loved it all and the staff was so friendly and courteous to her wants for a cake. Its an experience she will never forget! Neither will we 🥰 my daughter absolutely loved the flavor of cherry chip, she had seconds when we got home! High reccommend! Im very thankful for the staff hard work and talent.
