Much of the original décor has been maintained but some parts of the interior have been modernized to satisfy current foods. The owners and staff are pleasant, aim to please and work hard. It is worth a stop for the ice cream at the soda fountain, if nothing else.“

“We were in the area since my son’s baseball practice is out that way so we stopped for an ice cream.
The girl that was working was so sweet. I was trying to explain to the gentleman I wanted a cone with chocolate ice cream but I also wanted like one little dabble of mint chocolate chip on the top just to taste and he unfortunately wasn’t understanding what I meant as far as thinking I wanted two whole scoops of ice cream on top of my little cone, so the girl kindly jumped in and knew exactly what I was meaning lol and got us on our way!
It was clean in the lobby. And the bathrooms were nice and tidy as well so that was refreshing.“

I sure wish they were allowed to buy the place in Dowagiac as well. Dowagiac needs a place like this. Wait times can get a little long when they are busy. 15-20 minutes is not unusual during heavy times. Parking is tight at this location, but there are options to park along the street downtown or across the street for a short time at the gas station.“
