“You can tell coming in here that Jason, the owner of Zara, loves what he does, and it shows in the food he makes! I got a large chicken shawarma salad and it was amazing, the chicken was perfect, and he makes the pickled turnips in house. I will absolutely be back here!“

“I have been a loyal customer of Grape Leaves for many years. . First, the food is great and very healthy. It is also reasonably priced. The lunch specials don't cost much more than a fast food combination meal. The staff is courteous and friendly. I have never had a bad experience and would recommend Grape Leaves to anybody looking for healthy Mediterranean food on Northwestern Highway.“

“I'm on a fixed income, so "fast food" is only an occasional treat for me. I found out about Shawarma Spot through a friend, and it has become my favorite little take-out restaurant. Their portions are quite generous, and you have several options for sauces and toppings. I order the Beef Shawarma, and at $8, I get two delicious meals for the price of one! (Admittedly, as a Senior, I have a small appetite.) Staff is always friendly, and they even put my "sauce on the side", so it still tastes fresh for my leftovers. I've frequently seen work crews there ordering Shawarma's multiple chicken wing deals. Give them a try!“
