“Update 6/18/2017: They are now only open for private parties and large orders. I will miss this restaurant! I loved eating here.I love this place! I've gotten plenty of items from their menu and I have no complaints. My favorite is the combo for 3 because it comes with a little bit of everything, and it feeds 3 very hungry people. Friendly waitstaff as well if you choose to eat in. For those of you who drinks, there is also a bar as well. There is also free delivery for those of you who prefer that. I would recommend this restaurant.“

“I went to the Middle Eats on Eureka Rd in Southgate after the gym. My doctor put me a pretty restrictive diet due to my diabetes. I admit I was kind of apprehensive walking in because it’s been a real chore to stick to it when I have to eat out. I walked in and a young lady named Kayla R was at the counter. I apologized to her saying I need to ask questions about my order and I’m on dietary restrictions. She was incredibly nice and understanding. She asked me what I could and couldn’t eat and even made suggestions on how to make my meal that would comply to the restrictions. She even said she could make a phone call to find the exact ingredients of the sauce if I wanted her to. I was so impressed. In the end I got a bowl that complied to the dietary restrictions and it was very good. The other employees were also making suggestions and when I apologized for being a pain they all said they were happy to help. This wasn’t my first time there and it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t express my gratitude on how they all went totally out of their way to accommodate me. Thank you Kayla and staff!“

“This has to be one of the best and most authentic Iraqi and Middle Eastern spots in Sterling Heights. The place has a cozy, quiet atmosphere with a small dining area that gives off a nostalgic Iraqi vibe.

Even though we arrived close to closing time, the staff member there provided outstanding hospitality and customer service. The kebabs are a must-try—the flavor is absolutely incredible 🔥

For the quality and portion size, the pricing is very fair (around $15-$20 per person). I’ll definitely be coming back again, and next time with more friends!“

The food was really good and was made fresh, I was greeted at the door with smiles, the place was very clean and best of all the price of all of this was only 25 dollars. “Our local place shut down. Had to bring wife to Birmingham for a surgery and wanted shawarma stopped in. Ordered beef shawarma sandwich, chicken shawarma sandwich, their falafel and Kibbee everything was amazing, fresh, tender. When we come back for follow up appointments will def be coming back to this place. Loved it.“

“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“Came in for the first time with a major pregnancy craving for some Lamb Shawarma. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and helpful, double checking how much spice I wanted, and letting me know it would take about 15 minutes as it’s made fresh. Took the food home and everything was absolutely delicious! The lamb was tender and well marinaded, the seasoning was flavorful, and the vegetables and garlic sauce complemented everything wonderfully. Between the great service and quality, I will definitely be back again for this hidden gem!“
