“This has to be one of the best and most authentic Iraqi and Middle Eastern spots in Sterling Heights. The place has a cozy, quiet atmosphere with a small dining area that gives off a nostalgic Iraqi vibe.
Even though we arrived close to closing time, the staff member there provided outstanding hospitality and customer service. The kebabs are a must-try—the flavor is absolutely incredible 🔥
For the quality and portion size, the pricing is very fair (around $15-$20 per person). I’ll definitely be coming back again, and next time with more friends!“

“The atmosphere is nice & clean. The fries were amazing! Best I’ve had in a long time. I also had a chicken shawarma. It wasn’t remarkable. Not enough sauce to my liking but I enjoyed it.
My husband got the Philly cheesesteak bowl and he enjoyed it. The portions are satisfying. It was very filling.“

“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“Marvelous overloaded mega Mixed Shawarma Fries 🤤💯 WOWED 😋. Gotta be 2 pounds of meat, both Chicken and Beef Shawarma craved off the spit. On top of crunchy Fries with Garlic Sauce Toum OMG perfection. We shared could only eat half, a good bowl of Lentil Soup. $22 for the large will easily feed 4 hungry folks, making this a mega deal 😅. Got to meet Nick the owner, who lives in the back LOL 😂. Not really he's got a family to get home too. Fast friendly service, great food and low prices. “We had a staff luncheon for our school and Jason was so easy to work with. The customer service was top notch as he tried to ensure we got everything we would need for our staff. On the day of our catering everything was ready on time and just as ordered. Food was delicious and our staff was very satisfied. Highly recommend! Thank you!“

“I have been a loyal customer of Grape Leaves for many years. . First, the food is great and very healthy. It is also reasonably priced. The lunch specials don't cost much more than a fast food combination meal. The staff is courteous and friendly. I have never had a bad experience and would recommend Grape Leaves to anybody looking for healthy Mediterranean food on Northwestern Highway.“

“I'm on a fixed income, so "fast food" is only an occasional treat for me. I found out about Shawarma Spot through a friend, and it has become my favorite little take-out restaurant. Their portions are quite generous, and you have several options for sauces and toppings. I order the Beef Shawarma, and at $8, I get two delicious meals for the price of one! (Admittedly, as a Senior, I have a small appetite.) Staff is always friendly, and they even put my "sauce on the side", so it still tastes fresh for my leftovers. I've frequently seen work crews there ordering Shawarma's multiple chicken wing deals. Give them a try!“

“My son is so picky, yet he ate the chicken tender and fries, he loved it and finished his plate. The fish was soo good. when the guy knew that we are traveling he packed the Hummus in a bag of ice to keep it cool. Sarah was sooo helpful and nice. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. Keep up your good work guys and thank you very much.“
“Lady there was very helpful and informative, they had an engagement booked for the day, everything looked beautiful. Their prices were a bit high but I found out later that their prices fell in the normal range for what everyone bis charging. Place was good size and would fit 200 people comfortably.“

“Our local place shut down. Had to bring wife to Birmingham for a surgery and wanted shawarma stopped in. Ordered beef shawarma sandwich, chicken shawarma sandwich, their falafel and Kibbee everything was amazing, fresh, tender. When we come back for follow up appointments will def be coming back to this place. Loved it.“
