“I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. They have a full line up; lighter options, IPA’s, stouts, sours, etc. Every time I go, they have something better than the last time. Yesterday, I visited the brewery and I am in a straight leg brace and crutches after having knee surgery. James, the bartender, was very courteous and helpful, even going as far as bringing me over an extra padded chair to elevate my leg on without me asking. It’s hard to find great service like that anymore. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone.“

“Came here with a friend for their holiday flight. I’d never heard of it, but what a hidden gem! The flavors of each coffee were really well done and balanced (not overly sweet!) and I even enjoyed the peppermint mocha which I’m not always the biggest mint fan.

• When we walked in it was very busy and we were not greeted. Also, we were unsure where to sit due to tables being used or had stuff on them.

The only extra here is a guy playing instruments. So for budget friendly families, get your cider and donuts, head north on Franklin Road, stop off at Kirk in the Hills for some free lessons in beautiful architecture or keep going north on Franklin to Johnson Outdoor Park where you can hike around the lake seeing animals in Rehabilitation ( deer straight ahead, owl to the right of the parking lot. We continued to the cabin in the woods and made the hike around the lake. Beautiful and free!“
