It might be a good idea to align your texting practices with TCPA regulations which generally restrict messages to after 8 a.m and before 9pm. “This is really one of the nicest dining experiences in Bham. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. I like the laid back vibe and the pace of the meal. Never feel hurried. “The service was pretty good and fast considering they were busy. The place is very small though and not conducive for large groups really, and crowded spaces bother me a bit when standing around waiting for food. But it’s clean and modern on the inside.

“A Californian and a Texan walk into a Midwest Taco joint… and are pleasantly surprised! Fun concept Tex-Mex menu with unique choices of sauces, meats, toppings, and shells to choose from. They have flights of special dips and signature margaritas, allowing for a fun and creative tasting experience starting with apps and drinks. For the mains, you can either build your own or taco/bowl/burrito or choose from one of their signature pairings from a large menu. They have several meat and non meat options to choose from, and our server Colby did an awesome job helping us navigate the menu to create a great Taco Tuesday experience. He took great care of us and made the fun but large menu even more approachable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend trying it out, just keep in mind that if you are from CA/TX and like things SPICY, that the spice level on all items is geared towards a midwestern pallet aka on the milder side.“

“Ordered 2 plain fritters and one fritter with nuts. 2 long John donuts and 3 regular donuts. She said $20.10. I paid it. Upon looking at my receipt( when home,) She charged me for 4 regular fritters, 1 fritter with topping and then the three donuts. So I was charged for two extra fritters. Not fair. She was preoccupied because someone was there to pick up a check and she told him he would have to wait because there were no checks and she would call her boss. So the entire time she waited on me she was thinking, you could see that look. I got one apple, one maple, and one with nuts. Them Then the donuts. We ate them so I can’t show you. But I was def up charged. They were however so tasty!“

They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. “I have catered from this location as well as eaten at this spot. And I love it so much. The owner, Ray, helped me get a catering order for our team 2 weeks now. And our team have been raving about it. Ray is awesome and willing to work with you. On top of that, if you and your team have gluten free, health conscious, or vegetarian needs look no further! The menu has something for everyone. The meal sizes are very generous on top of that. I ordered burritos, oatmeal, chia pudding, and Mom's toast and the feedback was amazing.“

“I have been to this brewery a handful of times and the beers just keep getting better and better. They have a full line up; lighter options, IPA’s, stouts, sours, etc. Every time I go, they have something better than the last time. Yesterday, I visited the brewery and I am in a straight leg brace and crutches after having knee surgery. James, the bartender, was very courteous and helpful, even going as far as bringing me over an extra padded chair to elevate my leg on without me asking. It’s hard to find great service like that anymore. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone.“
