“I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.“

“Delicious and flavorful food. Friendly staff. Mexican style/street tacos flare. Positive energy vibe, plenty of seating available. I had the California burrito and asked to add cilantro and had no issues, in fact the person taking the order loaded me up with additional toppings and sauces that the burrito was filling enough for 2 meals. Also had the trio sampler (guacamole, cheese, salsa) with chips. Very filling. Great flavor profile. Will definitely be adding this to my list to return again.“

“Had carry out for the first time since the new ownership. Sadly, a little disappointed. I ordered the the Zip Sauce Alfredo with chicken .It was really good! However, it didn't have much chicken in it at all the the garlic bread that it came with was soggy. My wife got the "Double Fajitas" with steak and chicken. The steak was pretty bland and there was barely enough meat for 3 small fajitas. My oldest daughter got the Enchilada Dinner and really enjoyed it. Great flavor! My Youngest Daughter got pancakes and bacon. Unfortunately, they bacon was a bit undercooked and rubbery and they forgot the syrup. We love to support local business and We have gone to the restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. So I am hoping this is just some of the early "bumps and bruises".“

“Best tacos that I’ve eaten in Michigan. PERIODT! The barbacoa tacos were amazing. I’d pass on the chicken tacos next time but they were still decent. The salsa was great and they use El Milagro tortillas which if you know you know. It’s inside of a grocery store which contributes to the very authentic Mexican vibes. The tacky pictures they sell just add to the ambiance and somehow make sense. Loved every bit of it and it was so reasonably priced.“

Also, the waiter that serve all tables displayed friendliness toward certain customers, not all. I had to ask for napkins and silverware, I did not get chips and salsa, which is complimentary. “Me and my girlfriend ordered from this place and we got take out. I've never been here before. She's been here a few times. I got the chorizo hash with scrambled eggs, and she got a breakfast sandwich. The wait wasn't too long, and you could see when you walked in that they were making everything fresh and to order, so you are definitely getting food right off the grill. I got the food and took it home. The hash was amazing and seasoned very well, the chorizo was tasty and the eggs were perfect but the potatoes were the best. She loved her breakfast sandwich. We will definitely be back. This is now on my list for good recommendations.“

“10 year later review: This place is even better than when it was Mi Zarape, so I’m changing it to a 5. It is way better than Cantina El Dorado in Auburn Hills (especially the basic margarita). Service is always great and we get in and out fast.

“First time trying it and let me say I regret not trying it sooner. I was a bit hesitant but Chris was extremely helpful and made so many great recommendations. I had the quesadillas (chicken), chips and queso. The dessert was over the top. When I say I am not typically a big eater I tried some of everything. The best part the servings were ample enough I have left overs for a day or two. In addition to Chris the staff was welcoming and friendly. I will be back. Chris needs a raise for doing an amazing job!!“

“Never having had Qdoba before, this was an amazing experience, it was very much like fine dining. Greeted, and given a personalized tour of how the menu works and the pricing. The staff is so polite and friendly. We even had fun conversation as the food was being made. The food is great quality as well.

“Our family stopped In there today to try for the first time. We had 2 Large steak burritos, 1 veggie burrito bowl and 2 churros. Food was amazingly good. The establishment was clean. The staff was friendly. All the food options looked and tasted fresh. Churros rocked. Heck I might stop in just for those alone. I would highly recommend this place over the large Corporate chain options out there. Hope these guys stay around for a long time“
