“Ive been eating from this place for years and it is the absolute best.

Everything here I have tried is great, but In particular, the stir fried rice noodle dishes are superb. The stir frying technique of browning and blistering the wide rice noodle in a hot wok and then adding sauce gives a savory flavor and a very specific texture that really elevates the dish. Definitely try the pad kee mao for example. This cooking will put any other Thai you may have tried in the US to shame.

“The Vicari family organization always delivers. Thus was an excellent experience, especially the homemade pasta. The mushroom appetizer is divine. The bread basket and olive oil is a wonderful extra touch. The wine selection is extensive and reasonably priced. The kitchen is very receptive to special request, like pasta with a “dry bowl” without sauce “swimming” in the bottom of the bowl. Great vegetarian offerings as well.  Server Jackie was professional, crisp and attentive without being intrusive. The room is exceptionally comfortable with elegance and sophistication but without pretense. We are looking forward to our next return. 😎👍💪🙏“

“Came in this Sunday morning hungry from a crazy night out with my girls. 25 of us came in and were greeted by the wonderful and amazing Christina and Sandra. Even though we had no reservation they welcomed us into the restaurant with warmth and care. All of the food was to die for the restaurant was clean!“

“The second we walked in we were greeted by very nice employees. The presentation of the food was gorgeous, and the establishment was extremely clean. They were really patient with us and explained all of their different menu options. My husband had the lettuce wrap and I had the braised beef bowl and both things were fantastic. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. Fall-inspired cocktails, bone marrow on pumpernickel toast with greens, grilled pork chop with apple slaw, honeynut squash fettuccine with pickled mushrooms, brussels sprouts with pancetta & blue cheese, and my favorite - mushroom risotto. I loved the variety of layers in each dish. You can combine different components within each dish and get a new delicious bite. Friendly and knowledgeable server (Crystal), beautiful restaurant and grounds. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.“

“Visited O.W.L. early today as it was the only dine in resturant open for breakfast.

The breakfast menu is small....and the food was hot, fresh, flavorful AND, delicious. We ordered bacon with egg and chorizo with egg breakfast sandwiches.

Sandwiches were generous, and prepared with care. Make sure to ask for eggs well done if you don't want runny egg yokes with your meal.

Offerings of fresh pineapple and watermelon juice are refreshing breakfast thirst quinchers if you're looking for a natural morning pick me up!

I also paid attention to the chef....she continuously put on fresh gloves when handling food and beverages.....this was very important to me.

The chef/server and staff are pleasant and very accommodating!

We will return, soon, to sample their taco options!
