It’s one of those places you can take anybody to and they’ll find something yummy to eat. “First time ever ordering from May’s Bakery and it was a hit! I posted on Facebook looking for a bakery near me and the owner of May’s commented on my post sharing pictures of their work and that was what drew me in. I placed my order on a Tuesday and it was ready by Friday. I wanted a vanilla cake with fruit in it. The cake was very light and fluffy and the frosting was amazing - not too sweet but definitely very tasty. We had a total of 10 people and were able to get everybody a nice sized piece and some were so impressed they ate a piece at the restaurant and took one home! I highly recommend May’s Bakery for your next event“

“I needed a baby shower cake for my daughter that has gestational diabetes. I placed my order for a white cake with white frosting and strawberry in the middle. It was so delicious you would never know it was sugar and gluten free. I could not even believe how moist it was. The cake was not only delicious but it was beautiful. Quick service and the owner was so nice and the shop was beautiful. I will continue to order from this shop since most of my family is diabetic. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.“

“Tammy made a custom panda/bear cake for my partner’s 50th birthday to be similar to his first birthday cake. Tammy did a good job despite having difficulty with the cake in store and having to bake a whole new cake. It turned out very nice and tasted delicious.“

“First of all, I’m so glad to finally have a Cinnabon much closer to home. It was sooo delicious, hot, and fresh out of the oven. I did have to wait quite a bit for it (about 12-15 mins), because they had just put more in the oven. But I honestly had no problem waiting for it because I knew how fresh they would be, despite that though the staff repeatedly apologized for the wait, and offered to give me something for free, I said no it’s okay but he insisted and gave me a free glittery raspberry lemonade, also he didn’t charge me for the extra icing. The food, and staff were equally great! Will be a regular lol. Thank you guys again! 💚“

“If you’re from Lincoln Park or went to their schools then you remember them being available from the cafeteria. I always had the jalapeño, cheese, and pepperoni roll. Today I had a fresh pepperoni, cheese and sauce from the bakery and it was without a doubt the best one I’ve eaten thus far! Happy to see a downriver business going strong!“

“Today 4/22/2022 we had a disappointing experience with our purchase at The Pasty Shop. I ordered (2) regular beef pasties at 2:00 for pickup at 4:00. When I got them home and cut into them they were extremely dry, had no onion, and the inside of the crust was burnt. I have dealt with the pasty shop for many years and this purchase was very disappointing. Wayne A previously loyal customer“

“I had to prepare some food for a potluck, but I had a pretty full schedule. I called Liberati's and they were able to accommodate me on about 36 hours notice with 3 of their 3' party subs. They were on time and ready when I arrived and Frank himself helped to load them into my car. I wasn't ready for what came next: texts, mail, and messages all saying thank you for a great contribution and half of them asking me where to get them. You clearly can't go wrong with LIberati's.“

It had a very strange flavor and left a bad aftertaste. We didn't even try the tail cookie. All the inside cake and ice cream and frosting was delicious though.“
