Much like Los Arcos, a few blocks over, it is a grocery store but has an area where you can order food and sit down to eat.I came in here for Taco Tuesday and for $1.50 per taco, you really cannot beat the price.I ordered the carne, pollo, and chorizo tacos. I found the carne and the polo to lack flavor. The chorizo, however, was definitely above average and was something that would make me return to this place.If you sit down and eat, they offer chips and salsa. The salsa is definitely some of the higher quality that I've had. It was fresh and pretty flavorful.They also served 2 verde sauces and one red sauce, both of which were in a bottle. One of the verde sauces was creamy, which was my favorite sauce of the three provided.As far as the grocery store, one thing that stood out was the large variety of drinks. There are many Mexican favorites and they also sell Mexican beer.The staff is very friendly. They also know English quite well, which isn't always the case when I go to Mexican places like this.Overall, this place is worth checking out. The service is efficient and friendly. I recommend going on Taco Tuesday when tacos are $1.50 each. The chorizo tacos are the best, in my opinion.“
“Such a great unique find a hidden Gem in Lincoln Park for 20 years I've driven past a thousand times. Originally located on Monroe in Detroit Greektown for another 20 years. Bobby the owner speaks broken English and super friendly like all reviews say. OMG! The old Greektown bakery! Cash only, but cheese, olives, bread, pastries. I bought the Best ever Greek Feta Cheese and Baklava OMG. a super selection of everything Greek you gonna need for special dishes. Loaded with Bread, Olives and Oils many Cheeses. Bobby a master Baker there's a great story waiting to be told about his life. I feel so sad he just lost 80 percent of his business. He delivers to all the Greektown restaurants and Casino too. Please support this small local business in his time of need.“
“highlights of Kroger's let me see well there's always at least 300 people trying to take bottles back that's pretty fast second the store is so small it seems like it gets fully compacitated by an hour after it opens I'm talking shoulders shoulder I guess that's being friendly and you could say goodbye to the covid restrictions at Kroger's people don't wear their masks they don't care about social distancing this is the lines are so long I stood in customer service yesterday for 45 minutes and that's pretty bad but yeah Kroger's is good you should come“
“I love the coffee and the food here. Just a note that there is NO CUSTOMER BATHROOM. The Citgo in the same building has two bathrooms but we were told they were employees ONLY. We bought gas and grabbed some donuts but were refused.Don't go here!!!!!!!!!!!“
“A very authentic Turkish cafe, the business is very good and you need to make a reservation to dine in. There were so many dessert choices that I was dazzled. On the recommendation of the boss, I ordered a cheesecake and pistachio tart with ice cream. The cheesecake is very rich and smooth, with a dense texture that melts in your mouth. It's a bit like Basque, but has a special aroma. It also comes with chocolate sauce to go with it, but it's delicious without dipping. The pistachio tart and another plate of snacks served by the store were too sweet for us and we were not used to eating them, but they should be very authentic Turkish desserts. I also ordered a pot of Turkish coffee, which is very strong and bitter black coffee. People who don’t usually drink black coffee may not be used to it. The store also sells salty food that looks delicious, but unfortunately we were already too full and couldn’t eat much.“

We ordered a pistachio and chocolate croissant, Blackberry/Blueberry croissant, an Almond croissant, Smoked Salmon sandwich, Chicken sandwich and a loaf of Sourdough bread. Everything was excellent and very fresh. It's pricey but worth the splurge occasionally.“

“Downriver is so fortunate to have an authentic Mexican bakery. I got a flan and a few Mexican pastries. I really enjoy their pastries. They have great pastries, great service, and the bakery is conveniently located on Fort Street. Definitely worth a visit.“
