“Absolutely the best chinese food! Extremely large portions and reasonably priced. I always get the sweet and sour chicken which can easily feed two people. Egg rolls are fantastic as well. Family also likes the vegetable lo mein, roast pork egg foo young, and shrimp with lobster sauce. If you like fried rice the combos are a great deal because they come with the fried rice and an egg roll. Really, it's all good and now I want chinese food for dinner!“

“Excellent food! All except the filet, which was tough and not very flavorful, even at med-rare. Egg rolls (my favorite of anywhere ever), rangoon, beef teriyaki, spare ribs, General Tso chicken, lo mein, fried rice, even the mushrooms on the filet were very good. I tried sake for the first time and loved it - sweet and refreshing. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.“

“Absolutely amazing. It has been a long time since I've been able to find another restaurant that has authentic offerings aside from the standard American dishes. I ordered the garlic cabbage and 3-cup chicken. The chicken dish was new to me and it was fantastic -- full of flavor and the sauce is great over rice. Will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying more of the offerings.“

“Visiting South Bend for business and I stopped by here because its in the same parking lot as my hotel. Walking in, it looks like a typical Chinese restaurant, with the low lighting, red and gold booths and golden cat decor and buddhas. The restaurant was quiet and not very busy, considering that I visited on a Monday night, I wasn’t too surprised. As far as the food, I wanted to try something new and ordered a chicken dish on the menu. Although I am not a big fan of water chestnuts my food was pretty fresh, hot, clean and flavorful. I have to say, I was surprised at the great quality considering the inexpensive prices! The food came out rather quickly too (probably due to the restaurant not being busy) and the server was pretty attentive and sweet!“

“I don't understand the countless negative reviews to be honest. We ordered Mongolian beef, Kung pao shrimp, and a vegetable soup, and everything not only met but exceeded our expectations. Everything was very obviously cooked fresh, came out nice and hot, and tasted absolutely amazing. The shrimp was much spicier than I'd expected, but nothing that I'd call a deal breaker personally. The lady behind the counter seemed very nice, and was very polite when I was there. This place deserves a lot more praise than it's been receiving, I'll definitely be returning!“

“My family & I are a truck driving family. We have went thru alot of states. We have tried a few different Chinese restaurants. This Golden Dragon has the best the very best scrumptious chicken mei fun that I have ever ate!!! I still have left overs of other entrees that we bought. I wished I had more chicken mei fun! Lol... they did an amazing job I am looking fwd to eating the boneless spare ribs, chicken fried rice, and the chicken lo mein that is our left overs. Ty for stopping in!
