“Love coming in here for a quick bite to eat while strolling the shops at the mall. I think mall pretzels typically get a bad wrap for being stale, gross, cold, and the workers uncaring. "And what's the deal with peanuts on airplanes?" ? But pretzels at Auntie Anne's are different from your normal mall pretzel flair. So far my favorites are the Cheesy Jalapeno, Pizza Bites, and the Cinnamon Sugar - which taste almost like an elepant ear. They also serve drinks, slushies, Pretzel Dogs, and Pigs-in-a-Blanket. These fabulous menu items always seem to hit the spot, so we can get back doing what we love - shopping till we drop!“

The ordering was easy and they were super friendly to work with. I ordered 15 dozen in addition to donut holes. They were delicious and beautiful. They gave us a large variety and it was all ready on time. I am so happy we ordered from here. Couldn’t be happier with the process. We definitely found our new donut place.“

Or stepping into Paris from the sidewalk in southeast Grand Rapids. Go slowly! Each nibble fills you with bright, exotic sensations. We go for the scones, cookies and madeleines. Our local co-op Purple Porch is now selling their frozen and cookie items! Still working on them to get the Cheeyah. ? Yummy, local, vegan! Cheeyah is the best thing ever. I ordered some bottles for a party for us vegans at a nacho bar (found a cashew queso not nearly as good). Additionally, I never write reviews. That said, when I state that Midnight Patisserie offers the finest pastries I have ever experienced, I mean it wholeheartedly. I had the pleasure of trying the black sesame cinnamon roll and the apple kouign-amann. I am truly impressed by how their artisan was able to create a dough that is both soft and flaky. The apples were expertly seasoned, maintaining a delightful texture without being overly processed or sweet. They retained just enough firmness, which complemented the overall texture of the pastry beautifully. The black sesame cinnamon roll may very well be my favorite indulgence ever. Black sesame can be a challenging flavor to work with, as it can easily become overpowering in both taste and texture. However, a masterful balance was achieved in this pastry. In short: Midnight Patisserie demonstrates exceptional skill in their craft and I encourage everyone to give them a try.“

Putt a couple scoops of French Vanilla Ice Cream in a bowl then in a baggie crush a few of your Almond St. Claus Windmill Cookies then pour over ice cream. “This is my favorite new bakery, I came here because a few years ago my brother ordered a strawberry tres leches cake for my nieces birthday and it was hands down the most amazing cake I've ever tasted in my life. I ended up ordering two cakes and 24 cupcakes and everything was amazing. I love that they have so many different flavors to choose from and they even offer filled cupcakes. Everyone at the party talked about how delicious everything was. Their buttercream frosting is so good, I'm definitely recommending this bakery to anyone looking to buy any cakes and I'm NEVER going to a Meijer for my cakes again as long as this place is open. “Overall, this is a great establishment. We’ve been going to this location for over 6 years and are rarely anything but delighted with the food and service. Recently, it appears that they began a pretty steep Gluten free surcharge on all of their sandwiches and pizza. It used to be a no charge (which I get was actually super generous and likely unsustainable) but now it’s swung to the highest in the area. It feels punitive to those that are excited to have some normality that you guys can offer to have to pay essentially 30+% more for bread they can eat. Your sandwiches are already on the pricey side but we always justified that by being local, being good, and being grateful. I’ve long championed you as the best option out there for somebody with gluten restrictions, and that became just a little harder to do.“

“We've been there two weekends in a row for lunch because it was so good! The pizza and calzone were fantastic! My husband had two different sandwiches and liked them both (man of few words...) I will always crave that pizza dough!

Down sides are most of the tables we're dirty each time, the bathroom was dirty each time, and the hightop we sat at was very wobbly and so was one of the stools so we moved once another family left. Minor infractions but it distracted from the experience.

“Stopped in today as I saw a sign on 28th street advertising a $12.99 lunch buffet and was warmly greeted upon entering. The food was of great quality and even had BBQ chicken and ribs in addition to enchiladas, salmon, veggies, build your own tacos, fresh fruit, salad, cookies, and a few more items. The buffet currently runs Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30AM to 4:00PM, and unlike other restaurants, they do not up-charge on Saturdays, which is great. Such a good value! Will definitely be back again soon!“

Awesome, small, tucked away gem that your friends will want to know about.
Great food. Fresh veggies. Great prices. The filled buns are a freaking awesome meal by themselves but not on the menu.

English maybe worse than mine, but be patient and understanding. It's well worth the effort.
