“Mr. Burger in Hudsonville has the best chili dogs in the Grand Rapids area. They're as close to the original "Red Line" or "Red Lion" chili dogs that I've found yet! Their french fries and onion rings are great too!“

“Food: Great food! I love the shakes (they mix chocolate and vanilla) and the burgers are great. But seriously, salt your fries! It’s so simple.

Service: Fine. But the one guy with his eyes half closed who kinda yells once messed up our order, and forgot to screw the lid on the shakes.

Lexi welcomed me as soon as I walked in and guided me to the perfect booth, also walked me through the menu as I had a ton of questions. Jenna (GM) came over and said hi, and thanked me for choosing rainbow grill. She was extremely pleasant to chat with! Placed my order and Chad made all of my food perfectly!!

The staff were very friendly & they helped me to rectify my order (the mistake that I made) I had a stroke and have Aphasia & I felt so embarrassed and overwhelmed. “I haven’t been to Steak ‘N Shake in a long while, but I stopped by the other day. The quality of the food has improved immensely! The beef tallow fries are great and the burgers aren’t greasy. Overall, the food presentation was well done too. Very happy with the fast service!“

- Cheese Burger - $8: The burger patty was medium well and decent. The toppings (lettuce, onion, and tomato) were extremely fresh and crisp. The mayo was extremely light and there was no ketchup. They did not have many of the typical burger sauces available in the dining area so I skipped adding more rather than asking at the counter. The bun was huge comparatively, soft but dense, and overall great.

- Fried Chicken Sandwich - $9: A breaded and fried chicken piece in a hoagie bun with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato, and mayo. Delicious and large.

Their menu is quite extensive and unique. They have basic American food including burgers, phillies, fries, onion rings, chicken nuggets and wings, fish, and salad. They also have some unique items as well including gyros, egg rolls, crab rangoon, okra, crab, shrimp, mussels, crawfish, clams, lobster tail, and more.

- Service: Got the order right and was helpful. Mainly to the point. You order at the counter and pick it up at the counter when called.

- Atmosphere: There are about four tables with four chairs each. There is a self-serve soda dispenser (water available), a few basic condiments (no mayo), and a restroom. It was kept clean and updated.

- Conclusion: Good value and a basic restaurant atmosphere.
