Anyone remember when this was called "The Chatterbox" ??? Lol I was a dishwasher here after school I'd walk down the hill and start my shift. Hahaha! I believe my wages were $0.75 per hour in 1990! Lol, and geez I sure thought that was a lot of money for washing dishes!
The service was great, food didn’t take long and it was delicious. And coffee cup was full the whole time. Gifts are awesome also.
Great, friendly place to go and eat.

Miners' Cafe is a busy and friendly diner with a lovely atmosphere. The hardworking wait staff ensure your coffee is always full, and the service is great and top notch. It is considered one of the best breakfast spots in the Copper Country, where food is excellent every time. Guests can enjoy a wonderful breakfast, including the signature Miners' Omlette and the amazing "The Hungry Miner," surrounded by historical photos on the walls. Portions are generous, and the menu has a nice selection at reasonable prices. The homemade rye swirl toast is a delight, and the chef knows how to make grits the right way. Parking is easy, making it a great spot for a diner breakfast that many would recommend.
