“We held our private event in the enclosed patio at Firebird in Troy. The patio was heated and decorated to look like a lodge. All of our guests felt like they were in a homey environment. The food and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so pleased at the attention to detail and the promptness of the serving staff. The event manager, Jenna, made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She helped us set up our buffet menu and was there day of assisting in decorating and making sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend hosting a private event here and plan to do so myself for future events!“

“I had such an incredible time doing Bingo and Bruch that I would be willing to visit every week. I absolutely loved it and I'll be back. Eveything was superb. Only thing we wanted was to stay longer for another game. I had breakfast because it was brunch and it was quite tasty. You can go wrong pairing brunch with a Mimosa.“

“Chicken Bella and The Proper burger were both amazing. The Ahi Tuna is NOT worth $22, seeing as it's mainly just a cabbage salad, with like 7 pieces of tuna. Although, the dressing on it was great. Margaritas were okay. The host that took our drink order was very blah, wouldn't look at us, smile, asked drinks and walked away. We weren't sure if she was our waitress or not, she set waters down and just walked away, would have been nice to be told that she wasn't our server so we weren't confused. But also, not a huge deal. Server was awesome, super friendly, and quick with service but patient when we asked if we could take our time. They stayed on top of pre-bussing the table, which is always appreciated. Definitely will be back!“

“The old locker room is where I met my husband of 35 years now, but the new locker has a great vibe as well. Food is Awesome, staff are friendly and helpful and the music brings a vibe that makes you happy and want to party. Let’s just say I love the Locker room. Ask for Lacey she’s the best waitress.“

“Where to begin… the food, customer service, and game nights? It’s all a win! Theo and Franz have been my server the last few weeks during the Lions games. They are both so nice and quick to get drinks out. Next, the food, food specials for the lions game, plus drink and food combos/deals. Their regular food menu is already amazing. The kitchen manager Bill, makes the BEST egg rolls weekly, changing it up and me trying every new one has been amazing. Jay the general manager, is always checking in on the tables and does a raffle for lions jerseys!! Leah the bartender is simply the best, my favorite bar 💗

After coming here for all the Lions game this season, as well as coming back for the amazing staff. I decided to have my college graduation dinner here on Saturday. Bill, made a custom menu that catered to all the taste buds my family has. Homemade mac and cheese, Alfredo were amazing. Pulled pork sliders and the meatballs were out of this world. Bill has the talent to amaze his customers and that is why we keep coming back. Jay, the gm is seriously the most caring and helpful person making sure his staff and customers are always taken care off. Thank you to Cjs pub for making my graduation so memorable!“

“The Hideout shocked me, i drove by for many years and figured it was a hole/little bar. When I walked in the interior was very nice. So the business end of the review, i had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and it was so darn good I was shocked. I came back the following night it was so good hoping they could replicate it, im not here for the drinks but the cheeseburger! Once again the chef comes through with a home run. Ill be back tomorrow or the next day, its that good and its of tremendous value, im not sure how they do it. The place is a gem!“

“Well, this is your typical somewhat hole in the wall bar, although a little more upscale than that.

The food typically is pretty good. The service not so much.

I probably should have given a little higher score for atmosphere.

My two biggest issues. The relatively minor, but annoying.
First, for most things other than fries there's an upcharge, about three bucks. But they don't tell you that typically, even when you ask
The other problem is they have begun charging a credit card surcharge. They are required by law to post notice of that, prominently displayed, and to let you know about it. But they don't do it.
Those two things are off putting.
Overall, though, reasonably good place.

“Consistent Quality and Great Service at CJ Mahoney’s

I’ve been a regular at CJ Mahoney’s for the past few months, enjoying Saturday lunches with a friend. Every visit has been a delight thanks to the consistently great service and delicious food.

The food arrives promptly, and I appreciate the consistent quality of my regular order. It tastes just as good every time. The restaurant itself is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Plus, the location is convenient.

“My family and I just left left the Detroit Seafood Spot. It was a great experience. The food was del-lis-ious. The hospitality was off the chain for me because since we have been here in Detroit, the places we have gone to eat have been everything but nice. Places we will not patronize again. Not so with Detroit Seafood Spot. We will be going back again and again. I can't remember the name of the gentleman who serviced us but his personality was something you don't get often and he has the most prettiest smile and white teeth. If you want good food, give this place a try. We highly recommend. You also can get take out as well. Very satisfied. 👍🏾😁
