13 Best Sandwich Shops near Clarklake

“So far every time I have walked in here to order food it has always stood out that every single person that works here is happy, kind, helpful and patient. Some even remember the quirky way my children eat their sandwich.
Thank you all for being so kind and inviting to your customers.“

“What a great lunch spot his turned out to be! This small, old-school dining spot was nothing fancy…but the counter-only seating within the place brought forth visions of east coast diners. The staff all were incredibly friendly / busy / working incredibly hard. The menu is basic….a couple of options outside of a burger…but, yes, some great burger options! Nothing healthy here at all, lol…but the burgers were fantastic, and reasonably priced. The small lot and place fills up quickly during lunch, so plan on getting there early during lunch, or you’ll have a little bit of wait. This was a great find.“

“Grinder was turkey and ham, the best grinder I have had. Bar tender was awesome and helpful very nice person. Had a porter ale while I waited for take out and was done before I finished ale. Great experience!“

“I stopped into this subway yesterday when they were extremely busy and was not disappointed!! Even though they were crazy busy the employees were still super kind and smiled and were way more patient then I could even be! The worker named Melissa was so sweet and understanding to my kids and made the experience one of the best, I will be coming back to this subway from here on out! The store was so clean and like I said the service was absolutely outstanding, I couldn't of asked for a better sub or subway artist!“

“Subway in Harrison Michigan is my go-to spot when I want something fresh without overthinking it. The staff here are always friendly—like, “remember-your-order” friendly. The bread comes out warm and soft, the meat is sliced fresh, and the veggies don’t look like they’ve been hiding in a fridge since last week. But let’s be honest—the real MVP is the cookies. I tell myself I’m here for a sandwich, but those freshly baked cookies always manage to jump into the bag. It’s basically impossible to walk out without at least one. I really do enjoy my favorite sub, the BMT. It has Pepperoni, Salami, and Ham, with Provolone cheese. It's a great sub. I also like getting it in a salad when I don’t feel like having bread. I love that they can turn any sub into a salad. That's awesome!“

“I love this place, I go here 3 times a month.“

“Brendon was awesome with helping my decisions. Recommended the Italian herbs & cheese for the bread and provolone for the cheese. Fantastic. I’m always on the road and I usually have to get subway or something that can last a little while on the road. I’ll go out out of my way to stop at this location if I’m in the area. If Brendon is working ask him recommendation’s because he won’t point you in the wrong direction.“

“Had a very good experience at the West Avenue store on July 5, 2025 at 5:15 p.m. when we had to walk away from the airport Road store due to no service after being left for nine minutes and the employees at the West Avenue store greeted us immediately and felt badly because we hadn’t got good service at another location and they were so friendly and polite and apologized to us for the poor service coming from another subway and the sandwiches were awesome and we will be visiting the West Avenue store when we want a Subway sandwich we will be boycotting the airport Road store.“

“I just have to say that this is the BEST subway in Jackson county!! My food is always amazing. Not only that but I have become very close to almost everyone that is there. They welcome you and make you feel welcomed. I absolutely love my subway family! 🩷“

“I go here a couple times every week, I always go between 1130am to 3pm and the staff there at that time they just do an amazing job, they are always working hard and making the food very fast. & I love that they always remember my name and order.“

“I had a worker named Melissa who made my food for me and my coworkers. She was a sweetheart! Not only was she sweet but she was on top of everything. She saw the large drink lids were running low and she quickly went and restocked them as well as the ice.I will absolutely be coming back!“

“I recently visited your local sandwich establishment and ordered a turkey sandwich.
The sandwich was very good: fresh, generously filled, and assembled with the sort of confidence usually associated with people who have successfully parallel-parked on the first attempt. The bread was soft, the vegetables were crisp, and the whole thing was wrapped so tightly that opening it felt less like unwrapping lunch and more like defusing a delicious little bomb.
My only complaint is that the sandwich was consumed far too quickly. I had planned to save half for later, but apparently “later” is not a recognised time zone when there are pickles involved.
The staff were friendly, efficient, and handed over my order with the calm professionalism of people who have never once been emotionally defeated by mayonnaise. The shop was clean, the service was quick, and the sandwich was excellent.
Please investigate why your food is so difficult to stop eating.“

“Never got to see it since it's remodeled and WOW ???. It looks amazing, super clean, new and fresh. Had got a sandwich from here but honestly every subway is the same when it comes to food. I miss the old subway look from the early days in the 90's but this is now my favorite look so far. More subways need this remodel.“
