“The biggest highlight is obviously the wonderful attitude exhibited by the staff but you have a chef in the back named Julie who I would refer to everyone. She custom makes me a vegetarian sub that is phenomenal. Why it's not on the menu is a mystery to me. it's probably the best thing I've had there. If put on the menu it should honor her by calling it the Julie special. I love this place but that sub keeps me coming back“

“The food here is delicious! We ordered ribs tips, fried perch and hush puppies. We loved the seasoning in the batter they use for their hush puppies and the fish batter was great too! I liked the rib tips a lot as well and really want to know what kind of bbq sauce they use!“

“Have driven by numerous times, stopped today, very busy after we got in. Our waitress was a family member who was just helping, she does insurance on a regular basis. She was awesome, friendly, food and the rest of the staff and atmosphere was awesome! Highly recommended!“

“Thank you! being new to flushing and Michigan (relocated from west coast) in general I have been disappointed in the dining and nightlife options. I get its a small town but man I wasn't prepared for the lack of options. A co-worker recommended I check out jack's place, when he told be where it was I thought to myself I drive by there everyday to and from work never new it was there. When i walked in i felt immediately at home, the place has a modern and clean design feel. but i was a bit apprehensive because this is flushing, and time seems to have stopped at 2002 in the city. i sat and the bar and asked for a menu and a beer list, no beer list but the bartender did point out alot of crafty and cool beers, the ipa heads out there, your covered. he also gave me a cocktail menu which had a couple of craft cocktails, which was a nice surprise, I ordered an old fashion and it was spot on. the dinner menu has a nice variety of options especially for a bowling alley, i ordered the seared ahi tacos and they were really good and being from california i know my fish tacos. I did read reviews before coming in and understood some of the issues, the place does need a little more color or some sort of art work on the walls. and kitchen and service needs to be worked on, but overall its by far the best place in town and i have been to all them. Its a place i can take my kids and have an adult experience at the same time. And it's nice to see that someone took the time and the risk to help bring flushing into 2020, i hope it will provide hope to other proprietors to update downtown.“
