“The cocktails made with in house gin and rye are dah bomb! The servers are attentive and personable. The food is amazing - highly recommend the fried rice and cod. Capt Dave for the beer win with a visit to the gorgeous beer garden in the back. A must visit when in the Grand Rapids area.“
“I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!“
“I've been coming here off and on for the last couple of years and every single time I have been greeted with open arms and the best hospitality. Nice relaxing atmosphere and fun vibes. Always strike great conversation with whomever is working or visiting. The Kombucha is top notch and the "Sound Experience" on certain Thursday's are phenomenal. Check it out!“
“If there was a 3rd space (not home but just as good, where you can relax and feel safe and make community), Speciation is it. Everyone who works here is completely lovely. They’re kind, thoughtful, and good humans, the sort of people you want to be friends with. You can put your feet up here and just be yourself. I haven’t yet touched on the beer yet but the beer is completely delicious and stellar, exceptional. It’s something to write home about, with interesting flavors, delicious and unexpected combinations (even for this foodie). They are known for their sours, but their slushies are extraordinary and I love their NA options. I always find something I love here, and not just one something, many somethings. Speciation is the place to meet friends or to come and work or to make new friends or to play trivia. There’s even a patio with lawn games. Speciation is the place to come in Grand Rapids, whether you’re from here or visiting for the weekend. It’s just right.“
“lots of room. Attached to a Crust 54 with awesome food. the deep dish Gluten-free pizza was amazing The peach cider refreshing. They work with orher Granville business for supplies for their business“
“Daughter kept hyping up Apfelwein she had in Frankfurt. I stumbled across KB looking for cider places. Apfelwein on the menu! What a fun surprise! Far better than the cider place we visited next and tried a 6 cider flight. We only wish we could’ve brought some home in a growler 😞 but I suppose we’ll have to return :)“
“Good beers and good burgers.“

“Fantastic atmosphere, fast and friendly staff, great drink choices. We went when it was fairly busy and nearly full and still got seated and drinks within five minutes. The Strawbarb sour and Wizard Burial Ground quadrupel are strongly recommended.“
“It's rare to find a brewery with equally great beers and great food--Greyline delivers! We ordered a couple of flights and liked the Mosacca, Fade, and Hopsicle the most. For an app, we ordered the homemade cheese dip (they also have free popcorn), which was good. For our food, we ordered the Jive Chicken and Foghorn Blue (homemade potato salad!) sandwiches. They were both outstanding!! Great, easy to talk to and informative staff. Great experience, we'll be back!!“
“I've had plenty of Arvon's sours at our local favorite pub, but this was the 1st time I've been to their place in Grand Rapids. Wonderful staff, nice setup, & fantastic beer as always! Try Grandma's Sour House & Sonoma Sunrise, you'll be happy you did. 🍻🥰“
“Great beers, food, and service! Highly recommend.“
“City Built Brewing Company is a great spot on the corner for grabbing some beers! I didn’t try the food, so can’t speak to that, but their beer selection is solid — especially if you’re into hop-forward brews. They’ve got a good variety and offer flights, which is always a plus when you want to sample a few.
The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service was solid throughout. Definitely a cool place to hang out and enjoy some well-crafted beers in Grand Rapids.“
“I've been once but haven't been able to go again. Tried to go yesterday but didn't realize the school was on spring break. please work on adding signage to your doors and updating Facebook.“

“Delicious well done! On a pretzel bun! Side of sweet potato fries was delicious! ‘Q’ (Quentin) was a delight as our server! He is very professional and engaging! Thanks Q!“
“Nice Michigan Brew pub featuring Atwater brews from Detroit. They serve food and drinks, with mostly indoor seating, but outdoor is available on nice days. A nice stop after a performance at Devos Place, or if you happen yo be downtown.
There is a shuffle-board table inside for playing, as well as several TV screens to watch the games.
Good variety of beers from IPA's to lagers and others.
Prices are about what you'd expect, but there is no parking lot, so you'll need to find a garage or other lot.“
“Pros
Service: There were two people working. They were decently busy, and the two were hustling! But they were happy to take the time to give local recommendations. They were happy we were there.
Beer: Decent. It wasn’t our favorite in the area, but certainly enjoyable.
Atmosphere: Super relaxed and chill. It’s in a cool little space.
Cons
Seating: We sat at the bar and the seating was uncomfortable.
Overall: I really enjoyed this brewery.“

“Great place! Stopped in on a whim for lunch and had an awesome time. Owner was super nice and gave us some free samples of a new hot chocolate drink he came up with. Food was excellent…best beer cheese ever! Drinks are great too. Highly recommend 👍🏻“

“This is a very fun spot to grab a bite to eat, or a beer. They have a great rotating selection of drinks, and the staff are friendly. The outdoor patio is very fun!
Parking: The parking lot right outside the brewery has a fair amount of spaces, but those are shared with other businesses as well. There are 2 other public parking lots very close to the brewery if the main lot is full“

“Best beer in a market that is absolutely saturated. Their creations just flat out taste better than anything else. From a light drinking lager to a stout that you can only have 1 of LOL. Chill atmosphere with a friendly staff that is efficient without being overpowering. Food is excellent with a simple burger and fries that I’d put up against anyone else’s.“
“Kyle was hilarious on our tour, very down to earth. Super friendly staff and their new kitchen menu is very delicious and goes well with their already famus and historic beer. A must visit place in grand rapids! We will revisit in the future.“

“I ordered the pork chop. It was huge and I took half home for another meal. My item was a weekend special and included salad and a desert. My husband had the salmon and liked it very much. We split my lettuce wedge and shared my desert and it was perfect.“

“Always enjoy your beer but why does your bathroom resemble a jail cell? Weird, dark, lighting and dark colors. Also, that stainless steal sink that stays on for maybe a fraction of a second.
Who saw this aesthetic and thought, I'd feel comfortable in my most vulnerable state here.
Very rapey“
