“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

As someone who has had celiac disease for over a decade and had never eaten at a 100% gluten free restaurant, the experience was surreal. 🥹 To be able to look at a menu and order anything I wanted was an incredible feeling. “My husband and I came here for my 28th birthday and had such an amazing experience! Our waiter was very kind, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was amazing. We had calamari as our starter and I had the mushroom ravioli and my husband had the steak and we loved all of it! For dessert we ordered a s’mores dessert and were pleasantly surprised! I heard they have a speak easy type of lounge downstairs which is unfortunately closed on Mondays which was the day we went. But I’ll definitely be going back go see it!“

“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“I can't say enough about Fumi and the wonderful experience we have had with her in June and again yesterday. My husband and I did the scallops in June and yesterday four of us did the lamb. Fumi's attention to detail and responding to all our numerous questions went way above and beyond. We purchased 10 gift certificates which we look forward to using. “My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“The Wilderness has chosen...Sara's Sweets as the best bakery in GR! I was so nervous to submit my very niche request for a Yellowjackets themed cake for my birthday/the S3 premiere. I sent a few inspiration photos, but had no idea what to expect. When I say they exceeded my expectations, that is an understatement. The cake was PERFECT. From the hand-carved chocolate antlers, to the hidden rune symbols, to the HELIOTROPE purple cake color, I couldn't have imagined a better outcome. The best part? It was DELICIOUS!! Almond cake, almond buttercream frosting & chai frosting filling. We demolished it faster than they demolished Jackie! ;) THANK YOU for making this Antler Queen's dreams come true! :)“

“Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. “I've used NBC for two events now and ordered a variety of flavors in the bundtini's for both events. Each time the bundtini's were a major hit! There have been very few left overs each time, much to my dismay.😉Ordering and pick up is a breeze, you can tell they do catering/orders regularly and they have their systems down. The price point is really affordable in my opinion. I will probably continue to use them if I need desserts at an event again in the future. Easy decision, and very tasty.“

“We purchased a variety of cheesecakes to serve for our wedding dessert. They were a huge hit. Every single flavor was sooooo good. We got so many compliments from our guests. The owner is friendly; communication was efficient and prompt. Super happy with our choice. If we ever had another event, I would absolutely order a bulk order again. Food was great, our server, Julia, was great. Everyone must try the Fries! Great beer selections, too! My husband had the Chicken Bowl and I had the Steak quesadillas and they were both very good.
