“The jalapeño popper pizza is literally the only thing I come here for it is the best pizza around. I order so many of them. I was so disappointed to come in tonight with my friends and realize it was not on the menu. Please put it back on the menu. Your service staff is amazing. I love the space and the atmosphere, but I have no reason to come back if you don’t have my pizza. I might come see the staff, but I probably wouldn’t order anything. I’m only giving you a five star because they are making my pizza for me anyway. I’ve had great experiences here. Ps I did not throw a temper tantrum to get my pizza. I’m not a Karen. I just asked and they said yes. Shout out to Phil and Chris.

Edit: they tried to make my pizza, but you no longer have the cream cheese or the berry sauce so there’s no point. I understand it’s probably anexpensive pizza to make. I would gladly pay more for it. I hope you take this review seriously as it makes me legitimately sad.“

“Food was phenomenal. My server Deryll was amazing. I know servers are usually being welcoming to simply do their job, but I felt my desires were truly cared about, which makes a great server. And it was pretty busy, too, so that’s impressive.
The espresso martini with an added chocolate rim and toasted marshmallow is perfection (in case you also see this google review and are wondering what it is, just as I did with another review)

“I spoke with the owner after picking up my order he helped me carry it to my car since logistically. It’s a little difficult to get to the restaurant, but really appreciated his efforts and all the help you gave me. As a pharmaceutical rep, I order a lot of lunches and sometimes I’m in a crunch and have my customers order something that is downtown pretty much a college bar where kids can walk to was a little difficult for me this morning, but the owner made it very, very convenient and I would definitely patronize his bar anytime. As for Jack, the bartender who I placed the order with he couldn’t have been more condescending and rude on the phone and he needs to change his habits Understanding that other people work there and it’s a livelihood for a lot of other people and every customer like me that you turn off like you did probably wouldn’t come back Thankfully, I had an opportunity to meet the owner who appeared and seemed to be a really great guy, and I wish him nothing but success for his business I wasn’t gonna tip Jack and shove it in his face but instead as I entered the bar there happen to be a nice young lady blonde hair, very bubbly personality and she kind of changed my mind about ripping Jack a new fanny. what Jack has forgotten in all his years of working in restaurants I’m sure is that the customer just wants a pleasant experience and nothing more good food and a pleasant experience that is not what you delivered for me on the phone today. I hope Jack sees this and changes his attitude because he’s definitely a negative force for your business.“

“Bryan Ponke did an outstanding job coordinating for, and executing a 30 person birthday party at my request. He was readily available to work with me on all the details of venue set-up, choice of food items and their location and display, and made suggestions regarding the overall plan based on his previous experience in these matters. In short, Bryan was professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent event planner. From my first meeting with Bryan, I had a positive feeling that the party planning coordination was in very capable hands.“

“I recently visited the Graduate Rock Bar after work with some coworkers, and I was thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere is killer—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The rooftop view is definitely a highlight; it’s worth the trip alone. I found it amusing, though, that part of the view overlooks people’s apartments. I couldn’t help but get distracted by one person who spent half an hour cleaning his window—definitely more neurotic than I am!

As for the food and drinks, I ordered the French fries and a local MI Mule. The fries were fantastic—crispy and flavorful. The mule, while well-made, was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that’s more a reflection of my ordering choice than the bar’s offerings. I was thrilled to see white fish salad on the menu, a favorite of my wife’s, and I can’t wait to take her there to try it!

The service was outstanding—quick and friendly, which really enhanced the experience. My only suggestion would be to add some umbrellas for the outdoor seating. It was a sunny day during our visit, and a little shade would have made it even more enjoyable.

Overall, I highly recommend the Graduate Rock Bar for its great vibe, delicious fries, and fantastic service. I’m looking forward to my next visit!“

“I highly recommend this if you are going to a Msu bball game and want something to eat before it. We tried to go to chilis before the Illinois game, there was a wait time. Decided to leave, went here to try another option for dinner. Came here to buddies. Got seated immediately, service was fast, and food was extremely good. We’d still be at chilis waiting by now if we stayed there 😅 5 stars :)“

Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him. I have since chosen her as my godmother for my 2nd oldest and she has continued to provide amazing service for us all!“
